Guest Ecto Cooler Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 Macho Madness Best Of The WWF: Volume 15 Those look legit. Weird.
iliketurtles Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 That's some damn good job in Photoshop if it's fake.
Guest wwF1587 Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 i applaud his work on the best of WWF thing.. macho is good too.. too bad its fake
Guest Ecto Cooler Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 After further examination... So either the guy photoshopped the packaging and the disc is homemade, or he scanned the picture off the back of the packaging for the eBay description and the disc is real. I just sent him an E-Mail, so we'll have to wait and see.
Bruiser Chong Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 Looked interesting until I saw that it's from eBay. Look for three minutes on there and you'll be amazed at how many WWF DVDs from the classic era there are. Of course, they're all homemade, as these ones clearly are. First off, since when does WWE make DVDs where the front image looks so crappy (the pic saying that Strike Force are the new WWF Tag Team Champions)? Secondly, if they were to release classic programs, why would they release two pretty obsceure titles? If we ever get any classic WWF shows, you know it's going to be actual PPV's, and not anything that was originally produced by Coliseum Video (Home Video is NOT the same thing).
Guest Ecto Cooler Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 The guy's reply: Thanks for showing interest in my exclusive item up for bid. This particular item is indeed a custom made DVD-R created with the intent to fit perfectly with other official WWE home video releases. It was converted from a first generation VHS master to DVD, focusing on the Hybrid VBR Resolution ensuring the best possible video compression. In my personal opinion, the quality is far superior than the VHS original. It does not look washed out as other custom DVDs do, since the sharpness has been enhanced as well. (Still shots included in the auction) Not to mention, it features a full color menu with thumbnail images of each chapter while theme music plays in the background. Most, if not all conversions I've seen offered on eBay do not include a DVD casing with an original art insert. Most are the VHS boxes which have been scanned and resized to fit a DVD amaray. My inserts have been especially designed to blend in with your WWE home video collection. At the moment, there are other WWE titles in the works but in order to provide the best quality time is essential. I hope I have answered your questions, and look forward to seeing your bid soon. Take care. ~ Extremee
