Guest JMA Posted September 3, 2003 Report Posted September 3, 2003 Personally, I can't get enough of it. I especially like the different personalities and views of Christian and Shawn. Great stuff. The show seems to get better every week. Anyone else really like it?
Guest Crucifixio Jones Posted September 4, 2003 Report Posted September 4, 2003 It's a tad on the predictable side, but right now I don't miss it. I catch it every week, I'm hooked.
Guest Retro Rob Posted September 4, 2003 Report Posted September 4, 2003 I dig the show a lot. I taped last night's episode, but haven't watched it yet. I really like how the show is essentially based on character development and only uses the medical tagline as a backdrop for their growth (or lack thereof).
Vyce Posted September 4, 2003 Report Posted September 4, 2003 I like it, but I think they move WAY too fast through plotlines. Some of them, obviously, need only a couple episodes to wrap up - such as Matt's circumcision subplot. Others, though, could easily last much longer. They've already blown through enough plotlines in 6 episodes to last most shows a full season.
LaParkaYourCar Posted September 4, 2003 Report Posted September 4, 2003 I think they're blowing through everything because isn't this just a one season show? I thought it was just a miniseries.
OldSchoolWrestling Posted September 4, 2003 Report Posted September 4, 2003 I don't think its a one season show. But I think FX has to do whatever it can to get and retain viewers so they are going to go all out on all shows to do that.

So far it is resulting in entertaining TV, but what happens in Seasons 2 and 3 when they've done just about everything already?

Hopefully just like The Shield, they'll continue to produce good results.
Guest JMA Posted September 5, 2003 Report Posted September 5, 2003 It's a tad on the predictable side, but right now I don't miss it. I catch it every week, I'm hooked. I wouldn't say it's predictable. I'm glad that they don't just forget about the characters after an episode is over.
