y'know, this entire arguement is fucking stupid. if you don't like something...IGNORE IT. you don't like Wildside, you don't HAVE to watch, that's your choice...but why try and ruin it for everyone else? maybe some people like that company...who the hell are you to tell them they're wrong? you like ROH, hey that great, but how would you like it if i were to make this blanket statement: "ROH fucking sucks and everyone who likes it is a fucking moron." that's basically what your doing. not everyone is going to like the same things you like...accept it.

Actually, I've started lurking in the ROH Boards, and half of the regulars come off as insane anti-wwe freaks, so a lot of the people there are morons

As for me, its already clear that I am a moron when it comes to this, but fuck it, I'm trying to learn.

Saying that, if Wildside started releasing DVD's, i'd probably pick them up out of curiosity and to shut certain people up

I've already apologized to everyone else for helping start this stupid thing, and I think it's high time you did too. This is the absolute last time I will dignify you with a response- the choice is yours whether to continue with this or not. I highly suggest you don't.

First of all, You didnt start anything, Its morons like Lucharesu619 and Examsun with their "No, Rob Black is a saint, who DIDNT have Messiah's thumb cut off, DIDNT want to feed a dog to a snake for a publicity stunt, etc, etc, Rob Black is a hero"

They are a disgrace to Indy Wrestling Fans like you Jay

Onto Wildside Fans, who, lets not forget, one of which wished CANCER on Hat Guy from the ECW Arena.

And I'm the one giving Indy Wrestling a bad name???????

Nice Review of FWA/ROH Frontiers of Honor, btw, Although I hated Styles/Jonny Storm

First of all, I have been at college, I rarely ever post here anymore, I'm too busy. Don't you dare mention my name in a thread where I haven't even posted once, asshole.

Straight up, you are in idiot. Your arguments have always been stupid, and bases on little, if any, actual information. If you want to bash a company, watch more of the product, but until then keep your mouth shut.

And Spell my dam name right, please.

A- Well, I've already admitted i know jackshit about indy wrestling, except ROH, and I'm slowing getting into CZW.

EXACTLY. SO all the times you bashed XPW you were basing it off of what? oh, thats right, stuff you heard from the Net! No matter what they did, even if it was good, you would still bash them. You are a disgrace to journalists everywhere and a waste of sperm.

Your first paragraph there, Shooter Jay said the exact same thing about 20 posts back, AND didnt look like a moron saying it, mainly because he's intelligent, and cares about the product i ignorantly bashed.

Why would you care how anyone spells your name if you never post here anyway. Your fault for picking such and incomprehensible name to begin with.

"EXACTLY. SO all the times you bashed XPW you were basing it off of what? oh, thats right, stuff you heard from the Net! No matter what they did, even if it was good, you would still bash them. You are a disgrace to journalists everywhere and a waste of sperm."

If a wrestling promtion hires pornstars who inadvertedly nearly kill a fat untalented tub of goo, let Vic Grimes and New Jack fling themselves off a scaffold, and then bill aStripped Naked match between two pornstars, and FAIL to deliver the required payoff, and then top all that by moving the entire promotion to the Bingo Hall, and letting Shane Douglas book it into the ground, and any one of the billions of other stupid things that XPW inflicted on its "fanbase" during the time it existed, it deserves to be ripped a new arsehole.

I DARE you to defend XPW and not look like a complete moron

Congratulations...your the 5738 person to say that in the past week.

I care about INDY WRESTLING. The reason I came off so heated was because, you acted like a total jerk off to me because I liked XPW and defended them on this board. I didn't personally target you or anything, you just started picking fights with me because I liked the product. The reason people didn't bash you back then was because of that Fact that XPW is for the most part hated. Because of this no one jumped on your case. But now you are bashing products that people actually do care about, products that you have seen none or little of.

Why would you care how anyone spells your name if you never post here anyway. Your fault for picking such and incomprehensible name to begin with.

I didn't pick this name because it was incomprehensible, this name is the AOL screen name I have used since I was about 13 years old. When AOL first came out you could only have one screen name per account, so I shared one with my mom and brother. We just decided to combine our names. My name is Ethan, my brother's name is Max, and my mom's maiden name is Saunders. = EMAXSAUN. Get it?

If a wrestling promtion hires pornstars who inadvertedly nearly kill a fat untalented tub of goo, let Vic Grimes and New Jack fling themselves off a scaffold, and then bill aStripped Naked match between two pornstars, and FAIL to deliver the required payoff, and then top all that by moving the entire promotion to the Bingo Hall, and letting Shane Douglas book it into the ground, and any one of the billions of other stupid things that XPW inflicted on its "fanbase" during the time it existed, it deserves to be ripped a new arsehole.

I admit that XPW has done some stupid things. Even when I defended them in my posts on this board I admitted that, but you are so wrapped up in these little flame wars that you seem to miss those posts. About the Buck Naked match, everyone with half a brain knew they wouldn't be actually Buck Naked, because the show would have been shut down as a result. Most fans didn't come there expecting to see actual nudity, and if they did, than they are extremely dumb. If you want to talk about things that XPW has failed to deliver than look at CZW, they were supossed to have an unsantioned match at the last show, and instead we got a barbaric display that was said to be the most disturbing event in the history of Viking Hall. Or maybe when Wifebeater said he was going to have his last match in Delaware, only screw the fans who drove to that show by having another match. Or the PPV that CZW said they were going to have. I could go on and on. I like CZW, I like them a lot, but they do stupid things too. Point is, everything you have mentioned are angles and internet crap that you have read. Just like with Wildside, you are bashing a company that you have seen none, or little of. You admitted to knowing jack shit about indy wrestling, and have only seen Wildside on some crappy internet webcast, so you will never be taken seriously as a journalist, at least at this forum.

I DARE you to defend XPW and not look like a complete moron

Read above.

Here is one for you. I DARE you to go and buy the DVD XPW: Hostile Takeover, and watch it without bias. It is $10 US. Just watch the show, and put aside what you have read about online and the politics. Just watch the show for what it is, a wrestling show.

"I'm a disgrace to journalism"

Congratulations...your the 5738 person to say that in the past week.

Notice a trend here? Maybe because its true.

"Your a disgrace to sperm".

Well.....thats a new one...did Rob Black teach you that one?

No, he didn't, and get some new material, this Rob Black stuff is getting old.

I leave with a quote from Netslob:

but why try and ruin it for everyone else? maybe some people like that company...who the hell are you to tell them they're wrong?

EXACTLY. I couldn't have said it better myself. I like XPW, you don't, get over it. This thread isn't about XPW, I only mentioned it to prove a point, that you bash companies having seen little or none of the actual product. You were really fucking mean to me whenever I would post XPW results or mention XPW at all. Who the hell are you to tell me not to like a company? You did that to me when I mentioned XPW, and you are doing just that with Wildside on this thead.

Again, I quote Netslob:

Not everyone is going to like the same things you like...accept it.

I guess you don't have half a brain, because anyone with half a brain would know that if a promotion showed any actual nudity the show would be shut down.

As for you not buying a DVD, fine, be that way, it is only 10 dollars. But, you can't admit that XPW might have had a decent show, so you won't order the DVD. How about this, E mail me at [email protected] and give me your address, I have the VHS copy and the DVD copy of the show, I will mail you my VHS copy, and pay for shipping, if you give it a chance.

Then why the fuck did it bill the match as a buck naked match if they wernt gonna deliver. WWE might be insanely stupidly booked, but at least in their buried alive matches, or inferno matches, some gets buried alive, or set on fire.

As for buying XPW dvd's, i might buy one but i'm guaranteed to rip it apart if i review it.

Whats the card to this Hostile Takeover

Hostile Takeover:

Psicosis vs. 'Insane Luchadore' Super Crazy

The Sandman vs. Pogo the Clown

The New Panthers (Smokey Charmichael and Malcom XL; formerly Brian XL) vs. Mexico's Most Wanted (Damien 666 & Halloween) Tag Title Match

Supreme vs. Angel For the Deathmatch Title

Juventud Guerrera vs. Chris Chetti

Three Way Elimination Match): Altar Boy Luke vs. Vic Grimes vs. Guido

(XPW TV Title Ladder Match): "Rock Superstar" Kaos vs. "Confederate Currency" Chris Hamrick

Terry Funk vs. "The Franchise" Shane Douglas

I have seen this show and I think its solid. Only the main event being actually bad because Funk gets pretty badly injured, and Pogo vs sandman isn't really much of a match, its more of an angle setting up the next month's show.

There is a review of the show here:

Plus, in my"How To Review" Class last year, I developed this bizarre system of reviewing things, where i'd give the movie/album/event 100 "Points", and knockoff or add points indiscriminately, depending on my mood, and what i liked/ what pissed me off.

For Instance, since its the nearest to my TV, here's a quickie example, using ECW Heatwave 98

Jerry Lynn vs Justin Credible

-5 For Justin on my TV

-20 for Nicole Bass

+10 for the Top Rope Tombstone

Lance Storm vs Chris Candido

+10 for Both Guys

-5 for Tammy The Crack Whore

I dont think you want me to go on.

Yeah, I know, but I was pretty drunk when I came up with it.

I do remember giving Benoit-Angle, RR03 100 points on general principles, so maybe I was going somewhere.

You know, maybe if XPW gave me Benoit-Angle, I wouldnt shit on them all time time.

Of course, XPW is the company that fired its most talented AND over worker, Kaos

Amen, brother. I will definitely agree with you on the fact that losing Kaos was a stupid move.

As for XPW reviews, Jay and I discussed this one earlier. I've got every XPW release on either VHS or DVD, and I'm up for doing some of the shows, if only to do an impartial view of the action as I'm not an XPW hater, nor am I a superfan.

That's the thing. Most of my XPW stuff is on DVD, which is why I'd be the lone one doing it. The shows I have on tape are the earlier ones, which even I'D dread, save for We Wrestle, which was pretty good and had some notable names like Michael Modest and Donovan Morgan on it.

It'd def. be from that era, as I'm a mark for Shane Douglas, so most likely I'd pick something he was on.

I'd also consider Best of the Enterprise, if only because they were one of the few portions of XPW that got rave reviews for the longest time.

Fist of all Kaos was let go because of GQ Money, and the truth is KAOS was let go after their LAST SHOW, the one in Pittsburg, in march of this year. So its not like they ran shows without him or anything, he was still there till the end.

and for you to make a joke about rob in jail, well, thats not funny at all, and the case against rob is a blow to the porn industry in general, and he has many people backing him up. most people arent gloating about this man and his wife facing 50 years in jail.

You don't know the whole story. First of all, after Kaos was let go they wanted him back, XPW never wanted Kaos gone. It is known well that GQ Money had a lot of power backstage in XPW, and he was also not the cleanest guy in the world. But he was the guy guiding Kaos, and when XPW wanted to release him, he said, "if you release me, I am taking Kaos and J-Love with me." They didn't want J-love, and especially kaos gone, but the power struggle with GQ had gone on for too long, so they did what they needed to do. If Kaos had been smart and broken away from GQ's guidance, Kaos wouldn't have been fired as well. This is in real life, not the enterprise storyline. and 1nch, you really don't know the impact of Rob's case. its not just a case against rob, and people are actually supporting him, and the people who want to see him in jail aren't being public about it. you prick

If Robby B had been smart, he wouldnt have let a manger get political power in the locker room and caved into ultimations from them.

This "promotion" just astonishes me with its stupidity

Next thing you'll be telling me is that XPW had nothinbg to do with its own attempted hijacking of Heatwave

GQ was an on-screen manager, yes, but that's not how he got his political power. The guy worked behind the scenes quite a bit, I believe helping in aspects of booking, video production, etc. So his power came from the fact that he busted his ass, not that he was "over enough" by XPW standards to be a backstage bitch, a la some of the WWE primadonnas.

It is out in the middle of nowhere- but it is only around 30 minutes (if that) north of Gainesville, GA which has a population of over 25,000.
