Guest Downhome Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 Please, help me out here. I just got to thinking, and the possibility of HHH being the "2002 Summer Champ" crossed my mind. Last year I loved seeing Austin pull that off, but HHH? No f'n way, I don't know if I could take it, lol. If this was the HHH of early 2001 we were talking about, I'd love it. But, ugh, this new version of him is just not cutting it. As we all know, HHH isn't getting the type of reaction that we think he SHOULD be recieving. Sure, he'll get the "before & after match pop", but his matches are consistantly quite silent. Does that make sense to you? If you ask me, HHH needs to drop the title within 1-2 months, and then cut down his work and just get back in his former shape, then he should be ready to go once again. I mean, he's even hurt AGAIN, so I'm sure he could use some time off, don't you? I just know, that the HHH that currently is out there right now, I just do not want him to be the "2002 Summer Champ". But, of course... ...if he IS the champ, we'll all take it I suppose, but we just might be seeing more fans "walk out" of his Main Events like they did at WrestleMania. Sincerely, ...Downhome...
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 I'm sorry, but it looks like HHH will be getting a long reign unless he gets hurt again. Or Hogan puts HHH to shame and manages to have the World Title put on him at Backlash.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 I want to assure you that he won't be, but with the whole Clique AND Steph...
Guest Shaved Bear Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 HHH is gonna have the belt for a long long time
Guest Downhome Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 Come on guys, you aren't making me feel any better here! Hell, I'd rather HOGAN have the title this Summer than HHH (Of course I'm a huge Hogan mark, so, ya know).
Guest Jokir Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 Come on guys, you aren't making me feel any better here! Hell, I'd rather HOGAN have the title this Summer than HHH (Of course I'm a huge Hogan mark, so, ya know). I just had images or Hogan ME'ing every Raw, Smackdown, and PPV from here till August. I'm gonna go look for my pills now.
Guest goodhelmet Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 Sorry Downhome, you can only pray his kneecap is really fucked up. Hopefully, it will force him to drop it to a credible heel.... wait, there are no credible heels right now. Well, I guess there's the Taker but do you really want to see taker with the belt?!?!
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted April 3, 2002 Report Posted April 3, 2002 I think the WWF will keep the title on HHH until they can see where the split is going. If one side isn't generating great revenues and TV ratings (compared to the other), then I think the WWF will switch up the title, giving it to someone who they would hope could draw more of a crowd to the other show (probably meaning either Austin or the Rock, since they are the top faces on their respective sides). It's also possible that the WWF will give Hogan the title to capitalize on his current popularity.
