Jericho on Orlando Jones

First a video montage of Jericho in action is shown.

 

Orlando then introduces Chris and he comes out to a pretty good ovation. Jericho compliments Orlando on the show, says he is doing a great job. But, the problem is that no one knows about it, so as a true fan, a patriarch, and compadre of the show, he took it upon himself to promote the show out on the street.

 

We cut to a clip of Jericho walking up to a guy standing by a truck with a bunch of logs in it, which Jericho points out. He asks the guy, “Do you watch the Orlando Jones Show? Do you even know who Orlando Jones is?” the guy says “No.” So Jericho began to ruff up the guy taking him out of shirt and tells him to put the Orlando Jones Show t-shirt on. Then he tells the guy to give him his wallet, and says he’ll get the wallet back when he proves he is Orlando Jones’s number one fan. Jericho says that there was enough in the wallet to get an ad in Jugs Magazine. End of the skit.

 

Back on the show, Jericho says he counted the money and $400 was in there, just enough to get a good ad in Jugs. Orlando laughs, then thanks him for the favor. One of the DJs says that’s “stealing from the poor and giving to the rich.” Jericho says yeah, he’s the “new Robin Hood.” Chris got a big laugh on that one.

 

Orlando talks about how Jericho became a professional wrestler at a very young age. Jericho says he did, he just has this fixation of getting beat up by half naked men lathered in baby oil, and if the makes him crazy, then “Fine I’m crazy!” he said.

 

Orlando says that he read on the internet that Jericho murdered a guy in Japan; Jericho joked and said, “Well, if it’s on the internet then it has to be true.” Orlando says that’s just what he read. Jericho went on, and said jokingly that he trained in Naples for a long time to become a ninja. Then he and Orlando got up and began doing Karate poses. Jericho asks Orlando, “You want some of this?” then he asked the DJs, everyone had a big laugh.

 

Orlando then says that Jericho has a son on the way. Jericho says he does, and he is really exited about it. He had decided to name his son “Ash” like the character from the movie “Evil Dead”. Jericho says that Orlando must know how it is when you’re a kid; others tease you about your name. Jericho said he was sure Orlando was teased, like “Hey Orlando, are you going to Disneyland (Disneyland)? You must be from Florida!” Orlando laughs and says he knows exactly what he means.

 

Orlando thanks Jericho for coming out and that’s the end of the interview.

 

Pretty short, it was all about five minutes or so long. But Jericho handled the crowd great, along with everything else. It was definitely worth watching.
