Guest Coffey Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 I nearly messed myself a couple of weeks ago when he did that rolling leg scissors into the crucifix kneebar. He's done that move his entire career. Most of the IWC are just too busy following their blind hate to realize...
Guest Super Leather Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Okay, I'll settle this since I do not watch Raw and don't really care about Goldberg or HHH one way or another... They're BOTH equally at fault. From what I can see based on this clip, HHH is getting ready to jump up to do the Pedigree and Goldberg jumps the gun. In the meantime, HHH's grip slips and Goldie eats canvas. But BAH GAWD that clip is hilarious, no matter who's fault it may be.
Just call me Dan Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Flair's reaction has to be gold, his reactions are always the highlight of any botch. he's seen plenty. Any pics?
JustJoe2k5 Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Vince McMahon botched the move back in '02, and the fact that he owns the company should mean he knows how the move is performed. It was just miscommunication between Triple H and Goldberg.
Adam Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 It was like Goldberg didn't have enough energy to jump
dubq Posted September 12, 2003 Report Posted September 12, 2003 Blah blah blah, who gives a rats ass if the Pedigree was botched or not? It wasn't even that bad of a botch. If anything, casual mark fans will think that Goldberg was "collapsing" from the beatdown. That's exactly what I though when i watched it. It did look really sloppy, but thinking that Goldberg was to beaten to stand made it work. Wow, someone else in this forum who knows how to use their imagination! Wonders never cease! ;p
Guest The Real Nosferatu Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 This was funnier than HBK's HORRIBLY Pedigree taking b4 SSlam last year. When HHH first turned on him that is.
Silence Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 This was funnier than HBK's HORRIBLY Pedigree taking b4 SSlam last year. When HHH first turned on him that is. Heh heh, that was back when I and many others made so many HHH/HBK DX gay jokes in the captions for Raw, wasn't it?
Guest croweater Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 It wasn't that badder botch, but I can't see how this was HHH's fault as he was just doing everything he usually does and Goldberg suddenly takes and imaginary pedigree. I thought the funny thing was how HHH, after realising that Goldy was going down, tried to catch him between his knees which just made the whole thing look much much worse. At the moment, I think I that any one here would be better than JR as neither him nor King put over any of the wrestlers, don't cover for them and use horrible cliche phrases (when they're actually paying attention to the match).
Guest deadbeater Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 Goldberg blocked the first one by deliberately falling down, to show he had a little fight left. Falling down is legitimate self-defense manuever. Goldbrg was to weak for a followup. Then they stick the second one. No botch there. Folks, in a realistic fight, every move must be fought for, otherwise it would be just judo practice. Nothing wrong with judo practice; I did some myself for a half-year.
Guest wrestlingbs Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 The botch was JRs fault...he should have covered it by saying Berg collapsed....instead he said "another pedigree!" You've got a point there. part of an announcer's job is to cover the botched spots.
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted September 13, 2003 Report Posted September 13, 2003 I'm surprised JR just didn't start screaming 'Aw sunuvabitch, you heinous bastard, take the move correctly! Dammit! DAMMIT! Stop it! STOP IT" The fact that he considered the first uh...attempt a succesful pedigree is pretty good too though.
