For those that can't wait:

-

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

Charlie "dies" on the FIRST page, Bison kills him obviously

2 months later, Guile has Charlie's dog tags since that's all the Recon team was able to retrieve. No body was found so Guile refuses to accept Charlie's death.

Forget the classic SF II story of Guile and Charlie getting captured in the Cambodian jungle by Shadaloo, it was a solo mission for Charlie, doesn't say where he was captured either )I'm guessing somewhere in Thailand)

Ken invites Ryu to San Francisco ala SF II V, except Ken has his own place and he's living with Eliza. Ken has short blonde hair, Ryu has his red headband on. Ken playfights with Ryu for a bit before being informed that Master Gouken is dead. Someone murdered him.

Guile is informed that Shadaloo is after Ryu for some reason, but goes down to Chinatown (Guile also happens to be San Francisco) because Shadaloo agents have been spotted and causing havoc.

Ken and Eliza take Ryu out to eat at a restaurant. A backshot of Cammy, in her Shadaloo get-up, is seen on the roof of another building looking at it. Ryu is still bummed about Gouken's death and doesn't eat. Ken wants to know what happened. Ryu says he was training outside when he heard a cry from the dojo. He ran inside, but it was too late. A shot of Gouken's bloody body is shown. Behind on Gouken on the wall, smeared in blood, was the kanji TEN (Gee, I wonder who did it...) Ryu doesn't know who killed Gouken, but wants revenge and needs Ken's help.

Before they can continue, Birdie steps into the restaurant with some other thugs and wants to collect protection money from the owner. Birdie says he works for Shadaloo. The owner refuses to pay so Birdie starts beating him up. Ryu stops him, but before they can fight, Guile comes in with some cops to arrest Birdie and co.

Ken tells Ryu its time to go since the authorities have arrived, but then Birdie refuses to go down and attacks Guile. He doesn't lay a hand on Guile. Birdie then gets knocked the fuck out after he tries to pounce on Guile, but receives a Flash Kick instead. Guile has them arrested.

One of the extras, a street thug, refuses to give up and tries to get away before Chun-Li whoops his ass in the back of the restaurant alley. She says "so you work for Shadaloo"...

And that is the end of the story.

In the back it has an extra, its the very end of SF I, which happened 2 years ago before the start of the comic.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

Ryu fights Sagat in the tournament finals in a warehouse-like place with people watching them (very similar to that one Tekken 4 stage). Sagat insults Ryu by calling him a weak fighter. Ryu gets pushed back by a Tiger Shot. Sagat tries to finish the fight early by going for the Tiger Knee, but receives the classic Shoryuken of death instead! Ryu doesn't seem happy and questions the feeling he had when he did the Shoryuken (*coughEvilIntent*cough*). As he's walking away, Bison appears out of the shadows and tells Ryu that he has potential and not to waste it. Bison also tells him they will meet again.

In Issue 2, it will be a Triple Main Event:

-

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

E. Honda Vs. Vega

- Ken Vs. Ryu

- FINALLY Chun-Li Vs. Cammy

You didn't miss much with Issue Zero

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

Ryu trains / meditates near his dojo, Gouken is warning him through a past conversation that Ryu must never give into the darkside, Ryu then has a nightmare of having a mind battle with and then gets his ass beat by Evil Ryu.  Ryu then awakes after hearing Gouken shouting Ryu's name.  Ryu runs inside and find his master dead.  A shot of Gouken's bloody body is shown. Behind on Gouken on the wall, smeared in blood, is the kanji TEN.

And that is the end of the story, seriously.

In the back, it shows art of the all the 12 SF II characters with their story / statistics.
