Guest Coffey Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 I'm still not seeing why Cena gets praise. He's very subpar in the ring. His finisher is junk, and I'm not a fan of his "rapping" either.

Guest Coffey Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Rikishi is over too. What's your point?
Guest Anglesault Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 Rikishi is over too. What's your point? Not over at that level. I will contest though, that Rikishi at his absolute peak is a better worker than Cena
Guest Coffey Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 John Cena got over because he got shoved down our throats. Just like Brock Lesnar was and probably like Randy Orton will be. Orton already has the "getting shoved down our throats" part down. Now he just needs to get over. I agree with your Rikishi statement.
Guest Choken One Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 The difference is? Rikishi didn' have Angle, Brock and Vince sucking his cock like Cena does right now... If Angle wants to do a program with John Cena, knowing damn well his career has a shelf life of about 2-3 more years...then let him do what he wants... After 5 years of being one of the PRIME players in WWE, he's deserves to use his character in how he sees fit... So If he wants to Kiss other Men and Wear goofy hats and "rap" by god you let him.
Guest thrall585 Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 After 5 years of being one of the PRIME players in WWE, he's deserves to use his character in how he sees fit... 5 years? He wasn't even on TV in September 1998, nor September 1999, try about 3 and a half years. And in the future please get your math right if you are trying to use it to argue your points.
Guest thrall585 Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 (edited) After 5 years of being one of the PRIME players in WWE, he's deserves to use his character in how he sees fit... No he doesn't. If WWE can make more money using him another way, they will. Edited September 15, 2003 by thrall585
Guest Anglesault Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 So If he wants to Kiss other Men and Wear goofy hats and "rap" by god you let him. I'll let him Because I won't watch it anymore. The minute he starts playing bumbling idiot imbecille retard jokester to Cena's tough guy straight man, I'm through.
Guest Sakura Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 I can totally see it. He can call Cena his homie and bring out an entourage of midgets.
RavishingRickRudo Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Don't forget about the high-top shoes with no laces. Kurt Angle AKA "Twenty4Karat"
