Perry saturn injured...

"Perry Saturn blew out his knee last week out and will be out of action for at least three months, and probably longer.  I believe that Saturn underwent surgery yesterday and from what I have heard, the injury is really serious.  The timing couldn't be worse for him since the WWF was about to pair him up with Hugh Morrus in what was to be a team loosely based on The Eliminators.  Of course, that was the team that Saturn had with John Kronus in ECW that many people felt was among the best in the world."

That sucks for Saturn, the new Eliminators could of been a good gimmick. I am sure Heyman had his hands all over this one...

Damn. I could just picture their finisher... some type of vicious superpllex by Saturn followed up by No Laughing Matter. That would have been sweet.

Poor Saturn. Now who will be the King of Jakked/Metal? Funaki?

Ever Since Essa left Funaki has held the title and crown of KING OF METAL!  Saturn had been working his way up though...

That sucks. Saturn rocks, despite what his position in the WWF was.

Any idea of whom he injured it against?

not suprised its his knee, i think he's always had trouble with it.

if u watch him in elims his knees take some hell of a punishment, if you ever watch him do an elbow drop he lands on his knee

That really sucks for Perry.  Who knows what could have happened to his career if this Brand Extension works and he is injured the whole time?

Saturn and Morrus wouldn't have gotten over anyway. It's a shame but maybe the break will do him good, try and come up with a way to get over at last.

I really liked Saturn. I think that he is treated badly be the WWF ever since he came in. Of all The Radicalz he was the one the was pushed least. Mind you Dean Malenko isn't far behind him in that respect. I would have like to have seen the team of him and Hugh Morrus (another guy who is used badly) on WWF TV. Oh well, it could still happen! I just hope the WWF give him (and maybe Morrus) a push when he returns from this setback.

The funny thing is that, going in, the WWF thought that Saturn would be the most easily marketable of all the Radicals. Patterson was COMPLETELY behind him early on---no, not like that. Geez, sick minds around here.

God only knows what happened.

...Then again, Perry did love a mop---maybe a rotund, old, Canadian homosexual isn't too far-fetched
