Mole 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2004 Ohh, you gotta love this, from Buffy.nu: From New Weekly Jan 12th 2004 Edition (Australia) David Boreanaz is furious with Sarah Michelle Gellar By G 2004 - 02 - 16th David Boreanaz is furious with Sarah Michelle Gellar Angel spunk David Boreanaz isn’t too pleased with Sarah Michelle Gellar’s refusal to return to her Buffy role for a one-off TV special. Although Sarah claims she’s too busy after signing up for a remake of the Japanese horror flick The Grudge, David is furious. He apparently declared, "If Sarah were to come back for a final farewell - like I did for her on her series finale - that would be fantastic ... It’s not like you do a 50 or 100 episodes of a show and say, ’Screw you.’ You have a responsibility to your fans."
Anakin Flair 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2004 I would be, too. Seriously, they moved heaven and earth to get David onto the last two episoded of Buffy, but she can't be bothered to make a small cameo in the last ever episode of Angel? Someday, probably after Scooby bombs, she'll realise that Buffy MADE her carrer. Sure, she had a few rolls in hit movies (where she was killed off), but Buffy put her on the map. Likewse, read the Michelle Trachtenberg article on Buffy.nu. While she already established herself before comming onto Buffy, the way she talks about the fans are a bit harsh. Oh, and I hope you don't mind Vivisectvi that I borowed your banner. It was to good to past up.
Mole 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2004 If I saw SMG in person, I would just say: "Buffy made you and you don't even appreciate the fans." Or something like that.
Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2004 If I saw SMG in person, I would just say: "Buffy made you and you don't even appreciate the fans." Or something like that. and then you'd get a lump in your throat, a weakness in your knees and a bulge in your pants before asking for her autograph. Yow! Guest Brian Report post Posted February 17, 2004 I'd have to fuck her in the ass first and then tell her how she fucked this show in the ass.

Guest EQ Report post Posted February 17, 2004 Yeah, that's some bullshit. I'm glad that Boreanaz has the balls to publically call her on it.
Mole 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2004 David won't do what SMG did because he knows that Buffy/Angel made his career. Hell, if someone didn't happen to see him walking his dog that day, he could still be walking his dog.

Guest Vitamin EC Report post Posted February 17, 2004 The dumbest thing is I bet going on Angel is easy work. Which isn't to say that people ring in their performances but I'm sure as far as sets go, Angel is an easy environment to work in and I'm sure there's a family atmosphere. Hell, you'd think SMG would want to do it just to meet up with old friends... if she has friends.

Mole 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2004 Yes it is amazing. Plus, it foreshadows Xander's eye.
Mole 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2004 Angel on in 30 minutes. I just watched "Apocolypse Nowish" and that fight scene with THE BEAST and Team Angel is THE best fight scene in TV history. If you want to introduce a person to the show, just have them watch this episode.
Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2004 I always thought "Judgment" would be a good episode to show someone. It features everything that makes Angel great; excellent fight scenes, witty dialogue, and KARAOKE, and lots of it! Of course, the ending with Faith wouldn't mean anything to a new viewer, but that's only the last minute anyway.
Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2004 Well, that opening certainly was... ...bizarre.
