Ok, I get it. Thanks.

Here's something to ponder about this last season:

What memories did Angel just totally remove when he signed on? We know about Connor, but what of the Beast or Jasmin or Professor Seidel?

Let's discuss this.

I'd wondered about that. Did anyone ever mention Jasmine during season 5?

Anya only has safe sex. So it's ok.

Maybe everyone has fake memories like with Dawn. Or the spell could just make it so they never think about what happened and it's all cloudy.

I've wondered about Seidel since Gunn and Fred both seemed more innocent around each other in Season 5. I'm assuming they just eliminated Darla from the picture after Season Two to get rid of the whole problem. What about Holtz? How did they explain Cordy?

It seems really interesting: How do you explain the events of the last year without mentioning Connor? Here's what I figure:

Darla was out after Season 2. Wesley never went away from the group. Cordelia was abducted during the summer before Season 4, and brought up as a higher power where Jasmine infected her. Angel never went away, so there was no stress on the Gunn/Fred ship. The Beast never happened; no blotting the sun, no rain of fire. Jasmine happened, but the effects were different, as Angel probably wanted to keep things pretty calm, and since Vail's spell seemed to be for the whole coast IIRC. That keeps Skip in the game.

She is not going to hell! She helped stop multiple apocalypses. She provided key information to the scoobies in Graduation Day Part 2. She provided morale support to Xander in Primeval. She fought the crazy people by swingy a baseball bat wildley around in Gift. She also came up with the ideas that ended up beating Glory. Her information and teleportation skills where keys to stopping Willow in Grave. In Chosen she fought off Bringers and even took out two ubies with her sword fighting ability(that came from like no where). She did her part. What do you expect from her? She's not a warrior. She is more support for the group, providing intel and stuff.

It's not fair that she would be eternally punished for her vengeance demon days. She was young and confused then. She didn't understand love or men. It was a mistake. She learned that lesson and changed. She was redeemed. She deserves to be judged by her actions as a human. Everybody always puts over Spike and Faith as the big redemption arcs in Buffy but it's actually all about Anya. She turned good in 1999! Long before either of them even considered being good. She has earned her place in heaven. I am sure right now she is chilling out with Tara, both of them looking down on Xander and Will.

The whole memories thing is really messed up. If Wes doesn't remember kidnapping Connor then wouldn't he wonder about his neck injury and why he's now a badass?

Giles beat Glory. The hammer helped indirectly to stop the demensions from melting together, but Glory would've recovered and slaughtered all the Scoobies. Glies killed Ben, which killed Glory.

Spike and Angel didn't choose to be made a vampire. And when Spike halfway turned good even without a soul, then got a soul and directly prevented an apocalypse, he still went to hell. Anya chose to be a demon twice. The second time she wasn't young and confused. She was just all sad because Xander left her at the alter, which is a shitty reason. She's in hell, being taunted and slapped around by rabbits. See? AnyaHell.jpg

BTW, Anya didn't turn good in 1999. If she had the chance she would've gotten her powers back and killed all of them.

As for the whole Conner thing, I think it's smart that they didn't try to explain it, cause it'd just be really confusing, and it wasn't neccissary anyways.

Wes' badassness could partially be explained through Billy, since he shut himself off for a while after that.

Yes, Giles killed Glory. But like I said, Anya is not a warrior. She helps via support. They would have lost without the intelligence and ideas she provided. Just because she doesn't phsyically beat bad guys up doesn't mean she hasn't proven herself as a hero.

Anya wasn't just "sad" that Xander left her. Her world was turned upside down! She had finally found love. She finally was a human. Then he goes and just tears down her whole world and ruins everything. Plus D'hoffryn took advantage of her. Her second time as a VD proves she is good. She wasn't into it, didn't like killing people and ended up giving it up. She shouldn't go to hell for that.

She was at least good in 2000, still before Faith and Spike. Also a lot of her threats were just talk. You can tell. Anya often talks tough but really doesn't mean it. That's just the way she is. I really doubt she would have killed the scoobies. She would talk about killing people and all that while also being obsessively into Xander at the same time. In her mind she is the queen of the world and the center of the universe. She says stuff like that just to sound important and in charge. It's the same for her ultra feminist man-hating rhetoric. She actually is desperate for a boyfriend and is extremely clingly and needy.

And that pic is just awful! I'm gonna have nightmares about that.

But even Angel knew he wasn't going to get saved, so there's really no chance for Anya. But for all he did do, he got a second chance through Connor.

I just watched "I Will Remember You". Pretty charged ep.

Okay, she didn't enjoy it, but she did. And she chose to be a VD (). Spike and Angel did more to save the world than she did, worrior or not, and they're still going to hell.

And she did side with Kennedy and those during the Buffy Gets Kicked Out adventure, and everybody seemed to hate that.

Wes was still jaded and bitter due to Billy and being tortured by the Gunn/Fred relationship. It was that, and the Connor saga, which made him so fucked up. But because the whole Connor saga was missing from his memories, he was better off and happier in the early part of season five.

As far as his scar goes, it can be assumed that it was a battle injury, the memories of said battle being a false implant. Simple.

Angel and Spike are demons, Anya is a person. She won't go to hell like them.

She was a vengance demon, though. By choice. And she turned Olaf into a troll when she was a human, which led to him getting stuck in the emerald, which led to him being brought back in Triangle, which led to them having the hammer, leading to them beating Glory the way they did, leading to Buffy's death, leading to her reasurrection, leading to the First's "plan", which Buffy and Spike and the others had to prevent. So, she indirectly almost CAUSED an apocalypse, while she was a human.

Anyanka no longer exists. She is just Anya now. Redeemed. A human.

She is in heaven with Tara and Elvis.

I meant Anya, I probably typed Anyanka because of the SN.

She almost indirectly caused an apocalypse, and had a small part in diverting 2, one of which she had a hand in starting in the first place, and in both occasions, she pretty much did nothing to help the outcome. She came up with the weapon, but it didn't beat Glory anyways. And if you're going to count that, then you can give some credit to Warren for making Buffybot. She chose twice to be a demon, during her first tenure she did who knows what to countless men (note: gender has nothing to do with it, just being specific), for all we know she could've done more damage than Angelus, they're never to clear on it. If Spike and Angel, who didn't choose to be made vampires, could stop multiple apocalypses, not just have a small inconsiquential part in preventing them, but directly stop them, and still go to hell, then Anya burns with the Bunnies.

And Elvis is in a nursing home with JFK

Anya can't be like Spike and Angel. She is not a super powered fighter. They have super strength and sharp teeth and what not. She is just a normal girl now. All she can do is offer support, which she does well.

When Xander dies, they will be reunited. It will be glorious. They will have heavenly break up sex, then get back together.

she wasn't ordinary in season 6. And she didn't offer support in seasons 3 or 4.

Her normality isn't the issue. She did a bad thing that led to an even worse thing while she was normal, then chose to be a demon, lost her powers, provided comic relief, got left at the alter which led to her choosing to be evil again, did jack to prevent the Willow apocalypse even though she had demon powers, chose to be human (something that Angel and Spike both fought over in season 5 of Angel), then had a miniscule part in preventing an apocalpyse that she had a hand in causing.

Even if she did do as much as she could with what she had, so did Spike and Angel. They're going to hell, there is NO reason that she shouldn't either.

Do you guys have any idea how weird and/or obssesed you sound?

I'm not insulting you, in fact that's the highest praise for Buffgel fans(hey a new term coined)

and besides we all know Elvis works at a Mcdonalds in Pittsburgh

although an Anya/Elvis afterlife sitcom would be GOLD

She did support them in season 3. She told them all about the ascension. Before Xander got her to speak in front of the scoobies they had known like nothing about it.

She also did attend scooby meetings in season 4, just not for primeval(which is their fault, not hers. They scared her off).

She did to use her powers to stop Willow. She tried to stop her but wasn't strong enough. She also used her powers to sense Willow's location and used teleportation to give news updates to the others. Had she not been able to teleport to the grave Buffy was in Xander would have never saved the world.

She is more than comic relief too. She is like a role model. No matter what you say you will never change my mind. She is good at heart and is not in hell.

I ordered one of the new releases of the Bunny Anya figure. It should be out soon. I'm really hyped for that. I REALLY want OMFW Anya though, it looks great and I love the outfit. They should sell the real costume, like how they sold the wedding dress. I'd buy it.
