Isn't that a representation of the low-point of the Xanya ship? And is Xander a pirate on said ship.

The low point in the Xanya ship is Chosen. What Xander does in Hells Bells is awful, but at least they had a chance to get back together or at least have some break up sex, which ended up happening in Storyteller and Touched.

 

But yeah, it does sort of represent one of the lower points. But it also represents a high point, their engagement and how excited she was about it. She spent a year being obsessed with the coming wedding so it's also kind of nice, even with what happened in the end.

 

I don't really like the dress all that much though. I'd only want it cause it's so historic. If I could have anything of hers it'd be the OMWF butterfly outfit.

 

 

 

He is now a lonely pirate. I hate Joss.

Episode 13, Lost In The Supermarket

 

Angel, Spike, and Illyria are facing a legion of demons.

 

Angel: Let’s get to work.

 

Cut to Connor getting pulled back into the Hyperion.

 

Kent: This is his fight, not yours.

 

Show a view of the city in ruins.

 

Rudy, v.o.: Our time will come, boy. Then we’ll see what you’re made of.

 

Cut to a member of the Order of Soraska pulling out the books out of the Hyperion ruins.

 

Lone, v.o.: As for right now, you’re searching for the Order of Soraska. Powerful group of guys.

 

Cut to Connor slashing Rudy under his eye with the stake, with Rudy already bruised and battered, then Rudy falling out the window.

 

Connor, v.o.: Is it over?

 

Cut to the Order of Soraska killing Rudy and proceeding with their ceremony. Flash to show the three members dead along their symbol. Cut to Kent translating the symbols, writing “DEATH WILL RISE”.

 

Cut to Connor getting beat up by the black demon.

 

Eliana, v.o: He lived up to the hype.

 

Cut to the demon killing a green demon.

 

Black Demon: Alpu

 

Scene 1:

 

<Connor, still bruised, is taking a look at the weapons bag. He pulls out a dagger, feeling the sharp edge of the blade across his fingers. Kent walks out from behind, grabbing a katana off the opposite wall and pulling it slightly out of its sheath.>

 

Kent: I see were both planning on heading out today.

 

Connor: Some of us have work to do.

 

Kent: Are you planning on going after that Beast again. Don’t you think it’s a little early to be getting beat up again?

 

Connor: I’m going to get some help. What are you planning on doing today, wasting your time harassing the shopkeeper? The man’s done nothing wrong.

 

Kent: And nothing wrong has been done to him. Seems quite odd though, the bloke hangs around, works regular hours, and nothing seems to bother him.

 

Connor: You do.

 

Kent: I need to. We need answers out here.

 

Connor: We need to make our own answers. We can’t keep searching for things that don’t exist, when the problems are right out there.

 

Kent: You have your ways, I have mine. And we need to be united. I need to be able to trust you, because you’ve already put us all in danger once with your renegade attitude.

 

Connor: I don’t want to put either of you in danger. I want to relieve us of that problem.

 

<Kent reaches over Connor’s shoulder, grabbing the dagger and putting it back into the bag. He picks up the bag by its handles.>

 

Kent: Get some rest. Relax. We’re going to pull things out together. But for now, I need you to hold things down, wait here with Eliana.

 

Connor: I understand.

 

Kent: And I’m taking all the weapons.

 

Connor: How am I supposed to defend Eliana like that?

 

<Kent reaches in the bag and grabs a stake and dagger, dropping both items on the desk.>

 

Connor: Come on now. What can I kill with that.

 

<Kent walks away.>

 

Kent: Hopefully you won’t have to kill anything.

 

<Cut to Ronin, who’s prepping his weapons. He gets up, clutching his katana in one hand, and exits through the front door.>

 

<Cut to Intro>

 

Scene 2:

 

<Connor is scrambling eggs, while Eliana sits at the table, eating toast, bacon, and eggs. A bag of open potato chips is on the table.>

 

Connor: Do you want two more eggs?

 

Eliana: I think I’ve reached my limit.

 

Connor: More for me then.

 

Eliana: How much more do you need?

 

Connor: Just needed to finish out the carton.

 

Eliana: And the bag of chips. And the bacon. And the bread.

 

Connor: Don’t worry, we’re going shopping.

 

Eliana: Are you crazy? We’re going out there after what happened.

 

Connor: Come on, it’ll just be one quick trip to the store. We need to pick up some supplies, who knows if we’ll lose the opportunity.

 

Eliana: I’m going shopping. You’re going hunting.

 

Connor: Kent will understand.

 

Eliana: I’m not worried about Kent right now. I’m worried about you and me. You don’t look like you can take another fight.

 

Connor: We’re not going to fight. We’re going out get supplies.

 

Eliana: I need to trust you Connor.

 

<A door opens and a bell rings. Kent enters the shop, bag in hand.>

 

Shopkeeper: We have to check your bag in at the desk.

 

<Kent walks over and hands him his bag. He receives a number four on a clothespin.>

 

Kent: Four. Kind of an odd number. Why not a one?

 

Shopkeeper: All prior numbers were taken at the moment. Was there a specific number you were interested in?

 

Kent: But there’s no one else in the store.

 

Shopkeeper: They’re around. You’ve barely had time to browse. I should leave you to your business now.

 

<Kent turns around and begins to browse a section of soda and candy.>

 

<Cut back to Connor and Eliana, with Connor pushing the sliding doors of an abandoned supermarket open. Connor is pushing a cart with an open backpack, avoiding a large spill and piling groceries in his pack. The initial camera angle is positioned from atop a shelf, as if someone was watching them.>

 

Eliana: I’m not getting a lot of good vibes here.

 

Connor: Eliana, I fight for you, I brought you here, and I promised I’d protect you.

 

Eliana: Yes, you did, but this preemptive strike stuff doesn’t really fly with me.

 

Connor: I thought you were starting to get a hang for things, a taste of the kill.

 

Eliana: It was a little bitter.

 

Connor: We’ll just finish with the groceries then. No fighting.

 

<Camera cuts to another angle, as a body moves in and out of the shadow.>

 

Eliana: Connor, I need to be sure. It’s dangerous out here.

 

<A shadowy figure move from down the aisle.>

 

Connor: Just for groceries.

 

Eliana: In and out.

 

Connor: If that’s what you want.

 

Eliana: It’s what we need.

 

<An arrow comes flying out from the aisle, and Connor blocks it, pulling Eliana to the side.>

 

Scene 3:

 

<Connor and Eliana crash into the shelf, knocking over a few bags of chips and some canned goods. Another arrow flies and Connor tries to block it with a bag of chips, but it pierce the bag and straight into Connor’s shoulder. He winces, grabs Eliana with his other side, and tosses her on top of the shelf. Connor rolls away from another arrow. He grabs a can and chucks it at someone’s arm.>

 

Man: Stop!

 

<A man approaches from the side, shotgun in hand. He cocks it.>

 

Man: Give me a name.

 

Connor: It’s Connor.

 

<The man approaches, as Connor turns to face him. The man lets down his arm, clutching the shotgun by its barrel.>

 

Man: Laurence Reilly’s boy. Good to see you. Are your parents around?

 

Connor: No, they didn’t make it. I didn’t catch you’re name.

 

Man: Walter. Walter Nichols. I work with your father.

 

Connor: You WORKED with my father.

 

Walter: Yeah, sorry about that.

 

Connor: No, it happens out here. The way of this world.

 

<Cut to Kent, still in the shop, looking through a small bookshelf.>

 

Kent: Is this all of your book section?

 

Shopkeeper: I could help you look for something else?

 

Kent: Some odd choices for a rather bleak selection. Nuremberg Trials?

 

Shopkeeper: We try to keep some variety for are customers.

 

Kent: Not many of those either. What would drive someone to murder their own? What could they possibly be looking for?

 

Shopkeeper: Usually a means to an end. They aren’t looking for the kill, they’re searching for the meaning behind it. They look for light in the darkness. They dig in the souls of other to fill the emptiness of their own. It’ a void they can’t fill. And they just keep on falling further.

 

Kent: But why the kill?

 

Shopkeeper: The power. It’s always about power.

 

Kent: It often boils down to that.

 

<Connor is still in the supermarket. Walter is standing in front of him, and three other people have surrounded Connor and Eliana, a young teenage girl, a young man, and a younger teenage boy.>

 

Connor: How did you all end up out here?

 

Walter: We were in the store late. Some people fled, and many of them got killed. We stayed in. Keep away from the windows, don’t make any sounds. You do what you can.

 

Connor: Or what little?

 

Walter: There’s not much for us anymore. All we can do is check the doors, hope someone saves us. <Turns his head to a young teenage boy.> Johnny, you can do the honors. <Turns back to Connor.> We need to make sure that you weren’t followed. This seems to be the closest thing to a stronghold. I don’t think the animals can get a clear scent from inside here.

 

Connor: I would doubt it. The air con is still running. The food is still cold. How did you...?

 

Walter: We tapped into a power line. Someone kept one going. We let some meat go bad to mask the smell. Care to tell me what’s going on?

 

Connor: The demons have taken over this town, and they’re killing everything in sight.

 

Walter: But why?

 

Connor: I’m not exactly sure. They wanted full control of things. But you’re not safe, even in here. I can get you out of here. Is there an entrance to the sewers in the back? I need a large drain.

 

Walter: You’re going to get us out?

 

Connor: Yeah, just show me where the water runs off in the back. There should be something big enough where we won’t have to go outside again.

 

Walter: Yeah, there’s got to be something back there. There’s a hole by the loading dock just outside. <Looks around.> Where’s Johnny?

 

<Connor draws his dagger, as Walter raises his gun again. A boy comes tripping into the room. The black demon emerges from the around the corner.>

 

Scene 4:

 

<A young girl grabs an arrow and loads a sporting bow. Connor grabs the arrow and pushes down the bow.>

 

Connor: You can’t take him. Just get to the back. <Turns to Walter.> Grab him and get to the sewers. Follow it south.

 

Demon: Daltu.

 

<Connor runs up and hits a left and a right. He brings the dagger back across with a backhand. The demon catches his arm and whips him into the shelf, breaking into the next aisle.>

 

<Cut to a shot of Eliana helping the girl get into the sewer. Walter is behind, helping carry Johnny out.>

 

<Cut back to Connor, focused on the opening in the aisle. The demon punches through more of the shelf on both sides, stepping through.>

 

Demon: I could have killed you a long time ago, Daltu.

 

<Connor leaps forward with a front kick. The demon flinches and tries to throw a big hook, but Connor ducks and move to his left, nailing a right hand to the ribs and a knee to the solarplexus. The demon takes a step back. Connor tries with a spinning jump kick, but the demon, bends back and moves back. Connor follows with another kick, but it’s ducked again, and a third shot misses. The demon hits the other shelf, and Connor tries to land a punch but a right-left-right combination is blocked. Connor tries to kick but he’s blocked from the left and right. Connor tries a double-punch but the demon catches both palms before they hit its ribs. The demon gives Connor a look, then hits an uppercuts sending Connor over the shelf and into the adjacent aisle. Connor bounces off toilet paper and runs at the shelf, jumps and kicks. He hits the shelf, sending it into the next aisle. A loud clank is heard.>

 

<Cut to Eliana and the others, who are in the sewer, waiting for Connor.>

 

Walter: We need to get out of here.

 

Eliana: We have to wait. We’re not going to make it out of here without him. Just another minute.

 

<Connor starts to limp out towards the others. Suddenly, the whole shelf lifts. Connor hits the grounds as it flies overhead, bending the next shelf over. Connor throws the dagger, nailing the demon in its foot. Connor gets and starts to stumble away. The demon staggers for a minute but keeps walking. Connor shoots the stake shoot, unloading three stakes into his right leg. Connor limps out of the store as the demon pulls the stakes and dagger from his leg. He tosses them at Connor, but they miss as he goes diving into the hole.>

 

<Connor rolls into the sewer, splashing a little. He get up, pulls off his coat, then looks around to see where everyone is. The sewer is empty.>

 

Connor: Where is everyone?

 

<Cut to Kent, who steps into the hall of a building. He notices the blood marks across the wall, and touches them. He rubs his hand, then takes off. He gets to a door near the end of the hall, then runs into the door, knocking it down.>

 

<Cut to Eliana and the others in the tunnels.>

 

Eliana: We should have waited for him.

 

Walter: We needed to get out of here quickly. Johnny’s hurt. We need to get some distance between us and that thing. Lauren and Dominic, are you two okay?

 

Lauren: Yeah, we’re fine.

 

Eliana: And what about Connor?

 

Man: Yes, what about Connor?

 

<The man and three other vamps are standing in the way. The lead man vamps out.>

 

Scene 5:

 

<The lead vamp is smiling. He grabs Eliana. Walter whips the shotgun handle, knocking the vampire off.>

 

Walter: What are these things?

 

Eliana: They’re vampires.

 

<The vampire lunges back at Eliana, but Dominic steps in and throws a punch. The vampire whips its head back, but Walter shoots it off with his shotgun. The vampire dusts. Two other vampires lunge at him, while one stays back. Eliana tries to fight but get knocked away. Dominic and Walter wrestle with the two vampires. Suddenly, the one staying back picks up Lauren and takes off. Dominic puts a knee in between and kicks off the vampire. He elbows the one on top of Walter, then tries to get up and runs for Lauren. The standing vampire grabs him. The vampire punches Dominic in the face, then grabs him by the shoulders and shoots for the neck. Dominic spins once, but the vampire gets down. It backs off quickly, then crumbles. Connor is shown from behind, a little tattered. He heads for Walter, limping. He pulls the vampire up. It curls Connor’s arm, then headbutts, losing the stake. Connor uses a palm thrust to send the vampire reeling, but a left punch is prevented by a headbutt. The vampire leaps and hits a right hand to Connor’s face. Connor’s falls to his BUTT, as we see Kent standing behind him, arm extended, crossbow pointed at the vampire. He fires straight into the heart, turning the vampire to dust.>

 

Kent: Connor, what are you doing out here?

 

Connor: I have people to help.

 

Kent: Let’s make sure we get to the end of the line then.

 

Connor: We need to get Lauren.

 

<Connor stagger to his feet. Walter grabs his arm.>

 

Walter: You’re in no shape. She’s lost. Just save us.

 

Kent: We’ll help you get out of here.

 

<Cut to back in the lair. Kent, Eliana, and Connor are arriving home. Connor is being aided by Kent. They see the battered Ronin lying on the table, bandaged up.>

 

Connor: What happened to you? How did you get here?

 

Kent: He had a run in with your friend. He needed some help, accepted his weakness.

 

Ronin: I have no weaknesses.

 

Connor: How is he doing?

 

Kent: He’ll live. There’s more concern about your latest choices though.

 

Connor: We needed food.

 

Kent: It seems you needed an excuse to go out and get yourself killed. I thought we had already gotten through with this. I was hoping we were past it.

 

Connor: He’s not going to kill me.

 

Kent: You’re injuries sure tell that story don’t they. And right now, you’re judgment is worth bollocks.

 

Connor: I needed to strike first. There’s something up with this guy, and we’re in the dark right now. You and I aren’t sure what to do.

 

Kent: We can’t just walk through every wall we hit.

 

Connor: But we can lie down in front of each one.

 

Kent: We work around them. Connor, I need to know if I can trust you with that kind of responsibility. We all need to know. There’s four peole in this party right now, which means you have one more person to lead.

 

Connor: Why are you questioning me then?

 

Kent: Some decisions need to be challenged.

 

Connor: And they all happen to be mine.

 

Kent: World’s never simple. Answer’s aren’t always where we want them to be.

 

<Cut to the shop. The shopkeeper appears out of a large room, with a book. He opens it up, turns to an index. He skims, then turns to another page. He adjusts his glasses.>

 

Shopkeeper: It has begun.

 

<Cut to black.>

Here's the basis for the theory, I'll expand as needed:

 

Jasmine was a senior partner

1. Jasmine stripped away free will, essentially destroying humanity (Tro-Clan prophesy).

2. Jasmine's face was almost exactly like Voca's (from to Shanshu in LA), who was from the underworld, after the glamour was stripped away.

3. Skip was a freelance, mentioning that he was a merc in "Inside Out".

4. Jasmine used evil to do her work.

5. Beast severed her connection to the other Senior Partner's relatively quickly after gaining her memory, by destroying Wolfram and Hart.

6. The prophesy said that Wolfram and Hart would sever

angel's connection to the PTB, and did so through Jasmine taking out Cordy.

Jasmine as the Senior Partner? Hmm, that is a gooooood theory. I'll have to check this out once I get my Angel Season 4 tomorrow. I got a nice $80 gift card at the mall for my birthday.

It will be VERY sad, but it will be a nice collection to have.

 

Just seeing 12 seasons of my favorite show(s) of all time next to each other will be sweet.

It'll be sad, but exciting too. I'm really hyped for S7. I want them all lined up. I want to be able to watch Selfess, Storyteller and Chosen anytime with DVD quality.

 

This week I've watched Storyteller once and Chosen twice. The tape quality sucks though.

Because it's Buffy. Even though a lot of it is weaksauce, it's still Buffy. There's tons of mistakes but I still get to watch Xander, Anya, Willow, Andrew and the other characters I love.

 

Also, a lot of the eps are still fresh. I've seen the S1-6 eps countless times, but most of season 7 I've only seen 2 or 3 times. They're still pretty new and exciting to watch.

 

There's also a few that are actually really good, like Storyteller and Selfless. Storyteller is funny and a huge turning point in the Xanya ship and Selfless is basically the Emma Variety Hour. Two classics.

 

The more I watch Chosen the more I like it. A lot of the stuff I hate, like how FE just goes away, I've started to just accept and get over. If it wasn't for what happens to Anya I'd really like the ep. I just can't get over that part no matter how much I try. In fact I think it's actually getting worse. The other day I read a Xander fanfic post-Chosen and was just like devastated.

How can you not like them?

 

I guess if you hate Andrew I could see not liking ST....but Selfless? I thought you liked anya. How could a fan of hers not like it? It has everything!

 

 

With a few changes to the end Selfless would have been the perfect way to end the Anya story. I really don't understand why they kept her around after it. Emma is vocal about how she wanted out and they clearly had no clue what to do with her after she became human again. That should have been her big finale.

Yes I do like Anya, but just because I like a character doesn't mean I have to like an episode that features her.

 

Spike is my favorite character and I didn't like "Hell Bound" at all.

 

But "Selfless" just didn't do anything for me. I know it was a needed episode for the Xanya relationship, but it took away from the overall story arc. The thing about season 7 that was really shitty was that it should have been JUST like season 4 of Angel. But that is a different rant.

Wow, we finally agree on something.

Selfless is only ep 5 of the season. The big FE storyarc hadn't even really started.

 

Hell Bound is boring. Selfless is just non-stop comedy. Any ep with Olaf is good. You can't beat Aud with bunnies.

 

 

Buffy killing Anya would have been awful. That would mean Anya would die a bitter, hateful villain and Buffy would look so bad. I don't see how Xander could even remain with her if she had done that.

 

Anya should have left town at the end, on a journey to find herself.

 

 

 

Her dying is the worst thing Joss has ever done. It ruins Xander's story. Season 4 and on he was defined by his ship with her. They were basically one character. Even when they broke up they were still interacting all the time. I don't understand what Joss was thinking. Was having a shocking death to make ubies look good really worth having such an unsatisfying and horrible end to two major characters? There's no way he thought that out. I can't believe he would think it would be worth it just so he could have his gimmicky sudden death. I also really resent him claiming Chosen is a happy ending. Maybe for Buffy but what about Xander? It's not happy for him! But apparently that doesn't matter.

 

The worst part is that it's FOREVER. When other horrible things happened, like Angel going to hell, Riley leaving, Oz leaving, and so on we could see the characters eventually get over it and move on and be happy again. That's not possible here. Anya wll never return. She'll never get to be a ghost or something. No more flashbacks. Nothing. It's just done forever. The last thing Xander ever does will be just having heard his girlfriend is dead. I used to be able to imagine them in the future. Like they could have kids or something. Now I can't, because she is dead. Everytime I watch eps now I think about it. In The Replacement she is scared of only having 50 years left. Watching that now is extremely depressing cause I know she actually has like 2, with half of one year having her being angry and hateful to Xander. Joss has screwed up my favorite hobby. I can't watch my beloved Xanya scenes in eps without also being depressed. It's just horrible. I would be so much happier if I could watch stuff like All The Way and not have to deal with the knowledge of what happens. Why couldn't they have got a happy ending? I can't stand that he did this just to be shocking. They need to make like a comic or a book or something post-chosen where she comes back to life. Even just Joss saying she eventually comes back would make me happy. I just want to be able to think that they got a happy ending. I want to be able to watch old stuff without being upset. I feel like Joss betrayed me or something.

 

 

 

Has anyone seen how Joss planned to bring Tara back? He brought it up at some convention in Chicago a couple weeks ago. Buffy was going to get one wish, a reality altering wish where she could get ANYTHING. She would think about bringing Joyce back or being with Angel. In the end she would bring Tara back to life. It was going to happen in the 3rd to last ep of season 7. So what would happen if she got that wish now? Now both Xander and Willow have dead exs. There's the Kennedy factor too.

Xander becoming a pirate is kind of a blessing, since the original idea was that he would be killed. In hindsight I would have wanted Anya to get a finger bite off by a rabid bunny if it meant a better ending.

FX is airing the Prom episode from Season 3 of Buffy at 2pm. I'll probably not watch as I hate watching in syndication with stupid commercial break, I got to get the dvds for ang/ffy (a lame abbreviation if there ever was one lol)

 

angel season 4 ive seen in the papers go as much as 45 bucks but at best buy its only 39.95, anywhere cheaper?

 

not that Id get season 4 first as Id like to get them in order (maybe theyll be cheaper after season 5 drops)

 

 

and speaking of season 4, I finally saw the rain of fire one (is that the name of it?) where beast massacres WR&H so I now have seen every angel ep ever, do I get a medal, or at least a cookie.
