EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2003 I agree on most of that but this Benoit/Rhyno feud is absolutely horrendous I agree. My main problem with it is that they haven't given a real reason as to why Rhyno turned on Benoit. And if they did I missed or Cole and Tazz haven't been talking about it enough. No, they never gave one.

Guest Choken One Report post Posted September 20, 2003 Yeah they did, they gave us the old bleh "I'm sick of him and I'm better!" excuse...Which is good enough for a heel turn I guess...

Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted September 20, 2003 2)Benoit should be feuding with Rhyno. Shoving Benoit and Angle together totally damages Rhyno. In an ideal world, Vince would be looking to keep as many of his superstars strong as possible. A Benoit-Rhyno feud would benefit both...Benoit-Angle wouldn't benefit Rhyno. I agree on most of that but this Benoit/Rhyno feud is absolutely horrendous. I agree. Rhyno's gotten JACK SHIT in terms of victories since then and the only progress he's had so far is when he conspired with A-Train. It doesn't say much for him. Which is why throwing Angle in with Benoit before the Benoit/Rhyno feud is improved and finished is a BAD idea. Continuing the feud hoping for an "improvement/finish" when Benoit has already made Rhyno his bitch *is* a BAD idea.
Guest Ray Report post Posted September 20, 2003 I think the bigger problem is LESNAR being booked to look weak. Cheating, looking like a coward, jobbing, etc... Lesnar is the one who needs stronger booking. Angle will NEVER be taken seriously, due to three years of WWE making him look like a fool. So why sacrifice any of Brock's heat to make Angle look stronger? Brock has many more years ahead of him...and he's not been damaged as much as Angle has. I say Brock should have been MORE dominant in the iron man.
LooseCannon25 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2003 Angle could feud with Benoit for the next 15 friggin years and i wouldn't complain........How about this, I think they should build up John Cena or MAtt Hardy more and have Angle feud with one of them in a major angle leading to a Semi-Main event match at a PPV. It would do wonders for all of them.

I say Brock should have been MORE dominant in the iron man. Aside from running away, Lesnar pinned Angle clean twice, made him tap clean immediately to his own hold, and knocked him out fair and square on the outside. He even spotted him a fall and Angle's blubbering incompetance still couldn't make it up. He also survived multiple lengthy Angle Locks. Angle was an incompetant boob all match. How was Lesnar's heat sacrificed?

cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2003 I'm one of the few who never thought the Angle/Edge feud did anything for either guy. It made Kurt look like a complete jackass when he got shaved bald. And Edge didn't really advance any higher on the card. I'd say the Edge/Eddie feud would have proved better for Edge if he hadn't gotten hurt shortly after it. That feud did wonders for Eddie, hell he was getting standing ovations. Edge got hurt soon after the end of the SD 6 marathon.
