Guest ToddRoyal Report post Posted September 21, 2003 WWWF @ New York City, NY - Madison Square Garden - September 21, 1964 Two draws and a countout? Talk about an un-fulfilling card. WWF @ Los Angeles, CA - Sports Arena - September 21, 1990 No information I would hope the card was stacked since the other card that day was semi-mainevented by Battle Kat Vs. Brooklyn Brawler Tatanka defeated Brian Kewel Owen Hart & Koko B. Ware defeated Brian Jewel & Ken Johnson Since these two happened on the same day, I assume that the last name of Brian the jobber is misspelled on one of these? Otherwise that must have been a confusing booking sheet

That was the night of the HHH challenge, where, because HHH and Chyna put their hands on Linda, Vince took him out of the 6 pack match at Unforgiven and said he'd have to win 3 out of 5 matches in order to regain his spot. That was also the night that the Bulldog pushed Mankind off of a platform with a pole (and I still have no idea how people couldn't tell that was Bulldog who did it). ISportsFan 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2003 Wasn't HHH a heel though? Vince was a face. The whole reason for the 6 pack challenge was that Vince won the title from HHH (with Steve Austin's help), and then Vince vacated the belt, setting up the 6-way at Unforgiven. Jason Actually, I think it had been signed before Vince won the belt. That was during the period where they were desperate to get HHH over, so they had him interfering in everyone's matches (i.e. hitting Big Show with a sledgehammer during a buried alive match) and they were playing it up as everybody wanted to beat his ass going into Unforgiven. I remember he and Chyna doing a few promos where they were surrounded by armed police to keep people from attacking them.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2003 Chris Jericho (w/ Curtis Hughes) defeated Ken Shamrock in a First Blood Match after hitting him with a hockey stick and causing Shamrock to cough up blood ...for some reason, I miss Shamrock now.
