It's sad that that team isn't remembered for anything other than that. It's actually probably an accomplishment (getting to 4 straight super bowls) that will never be done again. Getting there 4 times in a row is probably a bigger accomplishment than just getting there once and winning, but that's not how history is written.

Winning conference titles is meaningless without winning the the big game. It's the same reason the Braves during their dominant years will be seen as chokers instead of winners.

They lost the final game, but they still finished ahead of 26 other teams. Is the person who wins the Silver medal at the Olympics a loser?
