Fökai Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 Rock doesn't need to job to HHH for a payday ever again. He doesn't need to, but considering he's departing again soon after XX - coupled with the fact they'll hotshot any feuds he has until then (much like his return this year), he'd still take the payoff and job to whoever he agrees to working with.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 I disagree wholeheartedly. When I say he doesn't need to job for the payday...I mean he will get the pay day either way. McMahon will use Rock at Mania, but it won't be against HHH. The whole Booker T/Hurricane refuse to job situation shows what Rock's priorities are as it regards to wrestling. You'll see him job to Rosie first.

You'll see him job to Rosie first. A bit off-topic, but a few people corrected me a few days ago when I used this argument in defense of the Rock. People say that the story was an unfounded claim - can you help with any proof to refute/explain the reasoning behind the infamous "Bait and Switch"?

The Ghost of bps21 Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 I don't think they'll be in the same ring together. Rock will have an attraction match and HHH will be in the title match. As far as the Rock/Booker thing...I only have what I read at the time. The fact that HHH somehow found a way to go over Hurricane soon after (when the story was Rock not wanting to put Booker over because he knew they would just job him at Mania...which they did) told me enough.
AndrewTS Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 Survivor Series vs. Trips, unless unforeseen circumstances (injuries) take place. What would they do if Orton and Trips both got injured?
dubq Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 If they have any sense whatsoever, he'll be holding this title for at least six months.
SamoaRowe Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 Goldberg reigns until Royal Rumble. He loses to Triple H who then faces Randy Orton at Wrestlemania.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 What would they do if Orton and Trips both got injured? send Goldberg to Smackdown and cancel Raw, most likely.
SamoaRowe Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 What would they do if Orton and Trips both got injured? send Goldberg to Smackdown and cancel Raw, most likely. That wouldn't be too bad except for Goldberg being on Smackdown.
Guest THE MIGHTY THOR Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 Goldberg reigns until Royal Rumble. He loses to Triple H who then faces Randy Orton at Wrestlemania. That's a Smark's nightmare come true.
Kahran Ramsus Posted September 22, 2003 Report Posted September 22, 2003 I'm convinced HHH/Orton is main eventing Wrestlemania. Either HHH wins the title at SS or he decides he wants to win the Rumble again. In which case, Orton wins the title at SS. Either way HHH is walking out of WM XX (in the final match) as RAW Champion.
