Shawn Lane has passed away this evening at the age of 40.

A legend IMO.

I hadn't heard of him either, but after going over to that site and reading some

stuff about him, it looks like he is one of the best guitarists ever, a great

classical piano player, and an all around musical genius. Too bad he never

really became a mainstream name, but maybe that will make him more

of a legend in the long run.
