To those of you who despise Triple H and are extremely voiciferous in your passion, thank you for thouroughly ruining this thread for me. I would have liked to have been able to post my thoughts upon Steve Austin and his character, but after reading your numerous posts I have become to sick to do so.

 

I am officially issuing all of you a challenge. Supply me with evidence. One piece of substantial evidence. Do me a favor and look up the word before you toss me any more of your conspiracy theories. You state everything that you say as if it were factual but you have never backed any of it up with anything other then speculation. This is insane. It seems like I am reading the posts of children. Show me some video footage of Triple H in the board room bad mouthing other wrestlers. Let me hear an audio recording of the man verbally burying another wrestler. Give me a valid report from someone else who is in on these meetings that Triple H is abusing 'his power'. I will accept anything. So long as it is factual evidence. At this rate, I doubt I will ever see anything other then a response wherein you tear apart my post and tell me about how 'this happened on this date to this person which corresponds with the full moon glistening off of an abandoned warehouse out in the middle of nowhere so it must mean this and if you cannot see that then you do not know anything'. Excuse me for being skeptical. Logic and reason seem to be entwined in my nature. I like to have a bit of proof to back up what I believe.

The Anglesault's got a point here LoganHex. However I think we should all recognize and respect the fact that most of the posts that bash HHH or Taker or Hogan are OPINIONS.  If someone chooses to base their opinions on speculation, they are free to do that on this board. Some of the opinions based on speculation are outrageous, but smarks are entitled to them. I share LoganHex's thoughts that I don't like to base opinions until there is some hardcore proof, but I think the speculation part is part of the fun of being a smark. I am also a little guilty of making a judgement based on 3rd and 4th hand info. You almost can't help it if you post here regularly. All I can say LoganHex is keep expressing yourself and don't follow. If your opinion happens to be against the grain of the board, fine. A lot of mine are too. I think it is refreshing when someone takes a look at things from the "other side of things".

I don't understand why some of you are getting so worked up about which wrestler gets pushed and which doesn't.  These guys are getting paids thousands (some millions) to have fun on TV no matter what script/role/push/program.  Why get so concerned about a millionaire's problems? ???

I think people are concerned because they are the ones who are watching the millionaires. Maybe they would rather see millionaire 1 or 2 then have millionaire 5 rammed down their throats.

i'd identify it more as a bit of a slump than losing his edge.  his interview on 'raw' wasn't spectacular, but it still easily blew away any other interview on the show.  with the fans cheering him again, he doesn't have his back to the wall like he had with his heel turn & isn't forced to be trying new things.  right now he's sticking with what works.  nothing wrong with that.

 

his in-ring work, post-rumble, has been very mediocre, not even comparable to his 2001 run, but austin's overcome obstacles before, & the obstacles were a lot more serious than a bad streak of matches.  if he gets a really great opponent again, it'll probably re-awaken his god-like ability to work a match.

god i loved the hollywood blondes. i just got Tributes (by meltzer) and i really liked the one on brian pillman, all though so far the ones on the von erichs are the best.
