Okay, maybe I didn't read the article that closely, but it seemed like that's what the deal was... I mean, there've been too many damn times when I mistype a URL and get send to some random search engine, I just thought this referred to all of those rather than Verisign's official one. Guest Smues Report post Posted October 5, 2003 The VeriSign thing was where you'd type in a url that didn't exist and it's take you to their search page to help you find what you may have been looking for. What angelslayer was taking about is the zillion websites that exist that are 1 letter off a popular site so when you typo you end up there. Greedy fucks.
