Moderators should be selected on their potential skills for the job, not their esteem or popularity. I'm prepared to be flamed for that idea, but I stand by it--I just don't think it's the wisest of concepts.
Guest EI Cubano Posted April 7, 2002 Report Posted April 7, 2002 Well, if people care about the forum as much as they say than hopefully they are voting for who they think is best for the job, not which poster has the trendiest haircut or is dating the head cheerleader. Like I said before, Kahran and Tony are laid back and fair enough from what I have seen to be good mods. If the two mods selected by the vote aren't fair than they will be stripped of their power, the only reason I did a vote was because I figured it was better to do it democratically than to pust pick all 4 and then get emails from 100 people asking why I didn't pick them. Remarkably only like 30 people have even voted.

Since a lot of threads have turned into Anglesault vs. (insert poster here) about the same topics over and over... there is now a one and only Anglesault thread. In the future...if threads are being destroyed by Anglesault vs. (insert poster here) and go off topic...they will be deleted and the parties will be told to take it there. This way, we can keep the WWF folder about WWF talk ONLY. If there is a problem with that...pm me or Tony, or Rasmus. This is NOT an attack on Anglesault. Once again, this is being done to make sure the WWF folder stays WWF related ONLY. Thank You.

I'll be giving offenders probably a warning as leeway, then I'll tak some sort of administrative stance based on the offense, either a temporary or permanent ban if that sounds fair.
