This episode is noteworthy for Jim Cornette's heated rant against NY Post columnist Phil Mushnick and Mushnick's using Brian Pillman's death in his crusade against pro wrestling

WWF IC Champion Owen Hart fought Kama to a no contest at 4:45 after Shawn Michaels, who did guest commentary for the bout along with Triple H, lured the Hart Foundation into an ambush by the Nation; prior to the contest, during a verbal segment between the Harts and Michaels & Triple H, Michaels coined the phrase 'Degeneration-X'

Max Mini & Nova defeated Mosaic & Tarantula at 2:25 when Max pinned Mosaic with a sunset flip

WWF European Champion Shawn Michaels pinned Flash Funk after Kane and Paul Bearer came to the ring before the champion's entrance and Kane hit the chokeslam and tombstone on the challenger; moments later, Michaels made his way to the ring, Triple H made the pinfall, and Rick Rude announced Michaels as the winner

Skull & 8-Ball (w/ Crush & Chainz) defeated Recon & Sniper (w/ the Truth Commission) via disqualification at 3:44 after the Jackyl pulled down the top rope, causing 8-Ball to fall to the floor; after the contest, both factions brawled on the floor

Brian Christopher pinned Tajiri at 5:21 with a rolling cradle and using the tights for leverage

Goldust (w/ Marlena) pinned Savio Vega at 4:17 by hitting him with Marlena's loaded purse as Savio was busy telling the referee to remove Marlena's cigar from the ring; Los Boricuas were at ringside for the opening moments of the match until their interference forced the referee to send them backstage

Ahmed Johnson (sub. for the Patriot) fought Triple H (w/ Shawn Michaels & Chyna) to a no contest when the Nation attacked Ahmed as he made his way to the ring and continued to attack him inside the ring, as HBK and Triple H looked on from the stage; Ken Shamrock & the Legion of Doom eventually came out for the save; Triple H's original opponent was the Patriot but he was taken out of the match when Rick Rude threw hot coffee in his face as the Patriot was about to make his way to the ring; Commissioner Slaughter then came out and ordered that Triple H would not have the night off and brought out Ahmed as a substitute

The Legion of Doom defeated WWF Tag Team Champions Henry & Phinneas Godwinn (w/ Uncle Cletus) at 8:47 to win the titles following Road Warrior Hawk's flying clothesline after Cletus accidentally hit Henry with the horseshoe; had the LOD not won the titles, they would have been forced to retire

WWE Tag Team Champion Kane defeated Chris Jericho & Christian, Bubba Ray & Spike Dudley, and Rob Van Dam & Jeff Hardy in a TLC match at 25:07 after chokeslamming Jericho off the top of the ladder; the Hurricane was scheduled to defend the titles alongside Kane but was attacked before the match by Ric Flair and Triple H; after the match, Triple H accused Kane of being a murderer

Don't know if this is note worthy at all, but the Warrior's 1st TV match (above) and Final TV match (Vs Owen in 96) were both taped in my Home town of Green Bay at the Brown County Arena.
