Well, there you go. Along with Stephanie McMahon giving you head, and Adam being a complete sicko, I can confirm that one of the major new features in Total Extreme Warfare will be multiplayer. Up to 4 players(and possible more) will be able to play Total Extreme Warfare, against each other either at home, or over the internet. Adam explained that how this will work, is that one person will take their "turn", then send the save game file to the 2nd player, who will then take their "turn", before sending it to the next player. It's a bit disappointing that you have to do this manually, instead of letting the game do it for you automatically, but it's still progress in this field, and should be quite fun. You will only have to send the save game back and forth of course, if you're not using the same computer. You can buy out someones promotion, and put them out of business, and also steal workers from them, as well as sending them e-mails using the in-game mail system, taunting them. There will also be a password system, to protect peoples save games, so that other people can't fuck with them.

There will be over 2000 wrestlers in this game. As the game is not freeware anymore, all wrestlers will have to be fabricated, and I've no idea yet whether there'll be subtle similarities to real life wrestlers or not yet(ie: Double H, Silverberg), or whether they will be names created from scratch, which is what Adam originally planned. For the sake of this preview, I'll be using real wrestlers as an example. Of course, with an in-game editor, I'm sure before long there'll be data updates with all the true to life information. What is known, is each wrestlers in-ring statistics, which will add a lot of versatility to the game. Now, wrestlers will have stats in brawling, high flying, mat work, chain wrestling, submission, power, athleticism, stamina, psychology, wrestling basics, toughness, stiffness, selling, shooting ability, charisma, microphone skills, desire, superstar looks, menace and sex appeal. What's funny is that even if your wrestler has 100 in each of those, Triple H will still demand he be put over them.

The shooting statistic is used to determine who can win a legititmate shoot fight, which means that you will be able to book shoot fights in this game. Hmm...methinks I'll have to do Bob Sapp vs Jim Ross in my first day on charge. All these stats affect various things in the game. For example, toughness will affect how each wrestler works through an injury. Also, the gimmicks is a lot more in-depth now. There are currently 10 categorys that the gimmicks fall under, and these are arrogant, brute, cool, cowardly, evil, legitimate, unique, upper class, weird, wholesome. So lets say you have Goldberg, and you want to give him a monster gimmick. You'd then get to choose which category it falls under(In his case it would either be brute, or legitimate). Also, the stats a wrestler has (charisma, microphone skills, athleticism etc) are all major factors on whether the gimmick for that wrestler is a success or failure.

The game is also going to simulate not just North America, but also Japan, the UK, Canada, Mexico, Australia and possibly some other countries too, and in each one it will be region based, with geography playing a big part. Adam explained this feature to me in detail, and it sounds very fun. It's very in-depth, and it'll make the game a lot more interesting, and there'll be a lot of important factors when booking shows. For example, if you go to Carolina and constantly job Ric Flair there, as good old Eric Bischoff was prone to do, his drawing powers going to go down there. If you're going on a tour of Japan, you might want to take guys like Tajiri with you, and put them over. It's hard to fully explain this until I've actually had a chance to play the game, but I hope to go more into detail with it in future previews. It'll make territorial wars, like XPW vs CZW, a lot more interesting however. House shows will also play a more important factor.

The feud section, has changed greatly. Now instead of feuds, you have set storylines. Adam hasn't released too much about this yet, but I'd make an educated guess that you set a storyline like "Triple H vs Kane - Kane gets unmasked", then under that banner, there'd be storyline points, angles and even matches that you'd have to adhere to. We'll know more later. Also, one interesting factor is that you can actually take on the persona of someone, or create yourself. When creating a wrestler, or editing a wrestlers stats, there is a checkbox for "use character", and if checked, when you start a game, you can become that character. He'll basically be a normal worker, although you won't have to worry about contracts, morale etc. Yet another feature that I'll be trying out, before explaining fully. There will also be a match editor, which should allow you to create your own matches from scratch. There will be no match reports in TEW, as play by play will be done from scratch. And thankfully, tournaments will be in.

Well, now we're all caught up with the major happenings of TEW, it's time to end this preview. I believe the next preview will be when I have an actual beta copy of the game, and will be able to get more in-depth with everything. If you have any questions, just let me know and I'll do my best to reply. Many thanks to Torri and Adam, and stay tuned to Scotsmanality and 411 for more exclusive updates.

I cant tell you how many times i creamed while reading this. This is going to absolutely OWN anything out there and I will gladly shell out 35 dollars for this.
