I just returned that magic hammer to Charsi and she asked me to bestow magical powers on something, is this just a service she will do for the rest of the game or is there a certain object I need to do it to continue? Guest Coffey Report post Posted October 12, 2003 Are you playing the Lord of Destruction expansion or normal Diablo II? If you're playing LoD, the quest isn't very good anymore because you get a class specific item in Act V. If you're just playing D2, don't use the quest until you're pretty high in levels (I'd say around 45-50) and make sure that you imbue a "superior" item. For example "superior ancient armor." As far as how good the item turns out, it's pretty random. From what I've read on Battle.net however, your level and the quality of the item raises the chances for it to be good. I don't really have any good items like that, of course I haven't gotten on the internet with it yet. I usually wait until the "Jungle" world to get something worked on by the chick blacksmith. Guest Coffey Report post Posted October 24, 2003 I'm bumping this thread. Apparently Blizzard said that the open beta testing for 1.10 is now done. So, hopefully that means the 1.10 patch for B.Net will be coming out soon. I plan on starting a Hardcore Character on the new Hardcore Ladder. I'll be playing with an Amazon. Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2003 I haven't played for D2 for quite some time. I just got back into playing it after the 1.10 Patch came out. You can tell they made some nice improvements (The Paladin's Holy Shield now affects all of his armor and not just the shield) along with being assholes (made the monsters even harder).
