Guest ManKinnd Report post Posted October 14, 2003 Well what Pride's have you seen? His Pride 25 announcing was the best announcing I have ever heard in anything. Doesn't bring insight? Poor Mankinnd. His "insight" is anything anyone who bothers to learn about the sport already knows. We know what type of fighting each competitor executes. If we didn't know already from, you know, being fans of the sport, it tells you in big bold letters before each fight. He likes reminding us of this, and then going nowhere with it. It's a big pet peeve of mine, and the quote that will always stick out in my mind forever and ever is: "You know, Bas, Quinton Jackson's a wrestler...... ............ ......... ..... ... .. ." I've seen plenty of Prides and he's never once said something that made me think. He can also quite easily become a cheerleader, which in MMA, such an objective sport, is not really acceptable. iliketurtles 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2003 Also, I don't know if anyone's ever noticed this at a live event before, but during the tables match, JR was oddly rocking back and forth very quickly. It looked like he was having some sort of attack. His head was going down almost to the desk and then he'd bob half way back up and kept repeating this over and over. Maybe he was just checking his monitor? Has anyone seen this happen before? It looks like he's vomiting because he's yelling so loud.
