razazteca Posted October 19, 2003 Author Report Posted October 19, 2003 (edited) 1st Pinfall Shockers wins with some form of a standing figure 4, with the ankle getting most of the pressure. 2nd pinfall Ultimo wins with Fujiwar Armbar which he worked one in the 1st caida...........ohhh psycology. 3rd pinfall Ultimo forgets to sell the leg and goes back to normal. Later in the match Ultimo get thrown outside which results in Shocker going crazy and hitting a Suicidial Plancha. Tarzan and Vampiro who act as managers/seconds get into it outside as Tarzan tries to attack Shocker but Vampiro is there to save the day. In a sweet spot where Ultimo tries to put Shocker in his own finisher La Reinera, Shocker is able to reverse it into a role up, then from the outside Tarzan makes the pin count, Shocker thinks he wins but the real ref tells him otherwise. So They continue with the action Shocker and Ultimo each miss Moonsaults, and Shocker is able to do the Sunflip powerbomb move from the top. Then Shocker does his best Test style Big Boot, then goes for a Hurricana which Ultimo is able to roll thru for a pin attempt of his own. Later on in the match Shocker goes for either a Quebrada or a Hurricana but gets it reverse with a Fujiwara Armbar for the Final Pinfall, And still Lightweight Champion Ultimo Guerrero. The match looked edited badly but the match was entertaining anyway, not their best match but still a good title defense by the Rudo Campion. Edited October 19, 2003 by razazteca

Silence Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 It sounds like a re-run because I've seen the match earlier this year, and the last time I saw Shocker on CMLL, he was teaming with Ultimo Guerrero and Rey Bucanero while feuding with Vampiro, and then I didn't see Vampiro or Shocker after that (for some reason the Shocker/Vampiro singles match never made it to Galavision).

And for those interested, LXW (LXWrestling.com) has booked Ultimo vs. Shocker for their card next month. I can't wait for that. And next week on Galavision, they'll be a tag match featuring Mexicos Most Wanted (who are also on the upcoming LXW show) and Super Crazy, so dont miss that.
razazteca Posted October 20, 2003 Author Report Posted October 20, 2003 I'm not good with dates, but if you want some good matches look for the one where Ultimo beats Shocker for the title the 1st time and the 1st Ultimo title defense. Late 2002 maybe Dec to mid 2003.

It was their shortest match I think, but their second best. Not as good as 12/29/03, but still very good. Also, the Havana Brothers vs. Ricky/Virus/Volador Jr. match yesterday was off the charts.
