Chazz 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2003 The last 2 weeks on Raw saw heels Chris Jericho and Christian both come to the aid of babyfaces Trish Stratus and Lita respectively. Both, I might add, were getting a post match beatdown via Steven Richards and Victoria at the time. I'm going to play Devils Advocate once again and ask you all were you think this angle Is leading. Jericho, the vicious evil heel falling in love with the innocent sweet Trish while battling his ultimate tormenter (Austin), unable to contain his love and his quest for revenge...It's fucking TEXTBOOK soap opera right there and It'll sell. You don't like Canadian Beer?! and Hockey?! But the true indicator of the angle was shown AFTER the trish/Jericho backstage confrontation...where after Trish left for her match...Jericho didn't grin and smirk or chuckle like he usually would...He had this look of a High school frosh head over heels in love gaze in his eyes...
