Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted October 23, 2003 Ok for the sake of this let's just ignore the Jarrett thing. For the most part everything had a clean ending to it which I hope they stick with as it was one of the biggest problems with TNA over the summer. It's also good to see that they're starting to address the tag team division with the addition of Doring/Roadkill and the Naturals.
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted October 23, 2003 I agree, as I think that is the influence of Dutch Mantell.
The Thread Killer 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2003 That's what I was thinking too. I was watching the show with a friend, and half way through we looked at each other, and said "What's up? What happened to EVERY match ending in a screwjob?" If that's Mantell booking, then I like it.
Jack_Bauer 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2003 I was told to expect this from Mantel. I was also told about the way he builds a fued.
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2003 I haven't seen many screwjobs in his IWA work. There's the standard heel cheating...but not the constant in match run ins that we've seen for months in TNA. His greatest strength seems (to me anyway) to be building towards a great emotional blowoff. That's how IWA made money.
Guest Devin Report post Posted October 23, 2003 There's plenty of run-ins or outside involvement in IWA, it just doesn't get the match thrown out. In fact, not much does get the match thrown out in IWA. It's basically a memphis style company under ECW rules in Perto Rico, if that makes sense.

Abyss rules still btw.
Guest Markingout Report post Posted October 24, 2003 Yeah, in almost every IWA PR match involving anyone with The Boss or Shane or some of that crap there is interference. Mantell's booking bores me,no creativity whatsoever.
