"UNCUT" movies on TV piss me off

I was watching Bring it On, Eliza could get me to watch anything, and something boggled me.

 

At one point, some of the football guys call the male cheerleader a fag. I was thinking they would edit it, but they didn't.

 

I don't get why they'll edit nigger but not fag. In my book, they are just as bad as eachother.

i'm with you . you would think since this is cable you would be able to see uncut movies that were actually uncut i mean some of us are paying hella money for cable tv instead of regular old sation and the censorship is the same for cable tv as it is if you didn't have it the only exception are hbo and those channel but other than that cable is a rip off

cable isn't a rip off just because they edit and censor.

 

Besides blame the Religious twats for US cable being the way it is. I mean if Canada can do it we could do it, but the damn Religious Right holds so much power that we don't. US cable channels are allowed to go unedited and uncensored. Do that and the Religious Right shows up to bitch. Alot of Network higher ups are older and from the old school, so they probably have a similar mindset with the Religious leaders.

 

US cable will eventually change, but not until the dinosaurs die off.

It won't change as you have children under 14 watching. That's just the way it is.

 

And 8 year olds shouldn't be watching The Godfather uncut anyways unless that parent is giving them permission.

 

A lot of you are teenagers and don't quite understand these things yet but you will in time.

If Canada can do it, there's nothing stopping us. We'd just have to show uncensored movies after a certian time, since parent groups are uptight about Johnny seeing a tit or hearing someone say fuck. By the sound of it, that's exactly how Canada does it.
