Guest TNAPhillip Report post Posted October 25, 2003 Just went over to the Totalnonstop.com meesage board and one of the guys over there said that during Xplosion this morning on the local Nashville UPN station a commercial for the rap cd by Macho Man Randy Savage aired during one of the commercial breaks. I flipped over from ESPN Gameday to see it for myself and sure enough, during a commercial break, there was the commercial. It looks like your typical cd commerical with some of the songs playing in the backgroud as Savage talks and the show clips from what I guess is a video for a song off the CD, something about Hulk Hogan needing to be a man. I doubt this means much of anything but one has to wonder, did Macho buy the ad time from the local UPN station to air during wrestling shows on the channel or did UPN just stick it in there during Xplosion. I can say this much to add a little fuel to the fire, the commercial didn't air during Smackdown on Thursday night, at least to the best of my knowledge. Coolclint 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2003 Actually, it appears to be a deal between Savage and TNA, since his album sponsored the "TNA Move of the Week" on Xplosion this week.
Guest TNAPhillip Report post Posted October 25, 2003 I didn't see that. Thanks for adding that in as it only helps add to the speculation. Quick poll...Who out there wants to see Randy Savage in TNA?
