Guest PhantMan Report post Posted October 26, 2003 I'm asking this question b/c since its dismissal, wwe hasn't had an *official* voice. I still don't understand the true reasons behind Ross suspending his columns. Sure, the columns were sugar coated to the point that *anyone* on the roster was: - a star - a star in training - a consummate professional - a leader behind the scenes - the most respected guy in the locker room - a fat fuck Make no mistake, the Ross Report was perhaps the biggest crock of shit ever posted on the 'net. what about filling the columns up with the ever lasting list of injured talent? One can safel say Ross has invented an alternative vocabulary of terms and phrases to express himself without creating much controversy. - "We're sending (insert name here) to one of our developmental territories to (work on his skills/teach the young guys)" Translation: We really took Haku only to stick it to wcw. leave it to les tatcher to do something with that big stiff. - Big Show has the potential to become perhaps one of the greatest names in this industry if he only had the desire to improve his cardiovascular condition and overall appearence. Translation: Paul Wight is a fat fuck. Too bad Vince likes fat fucks as his champs, so we're stuck with The Son of Andre for years to come. - Chris Jericho/RVD/Chris Benoit/Eddie Guerrero/Dean Malenko/Raven is on the verge of becoming a leader in and out of the squared circle. he's not there yet, but the talent's is pretty obvious. Translation: Still, it's just a bunch of vanilla midgets... The guy had a style of his own, that's sure.
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2003 I miss it. It was an amusing read, just to see how full of shit he was.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted October 26, 2003 It was easier to read all the injuries in his Report than finding out one at a time. LMAO @ the Translation of his Big Show comments.
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted October 26, 2003 Ross probably stopped them because he knew that more and more readers were realizing what he was saying was total crap. I do miss them though, because people tearing the reports apart was quite entertaining.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2003 Ross said he didn't have anymore time writing those reports and that the WWE wasn't happy he was "exposing" the business too much....guess who complained? You got it....HHH.

Guest PhantMan Report post Posted October 26, 2003 The funny part is that Triple H and his Merry Men were the first ones to *expose* the biz on that faithful night in New York City. Still, I think, HHH's beef with Ross started after he, like many of us, noticed that the fucking Barbeque Sauce was the most over character in all of wwf.com. Let's face it, you'd almost expect a big fucking bottle of sauce to run in during matches, claiming its own indipendence and undefeated streak. Hey, Vince put over Bob Holly, so anything is possible, uh?

AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2003 Yeah--I remember an opinion site was doing Ross Rip-orts all the time. It wasn't much more than a bunch of sugar-coated bullshit. Since it's cancellation, the closest we have is Linda McMahon responding to stockholders' questions.
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2003 JR's weekly dose of bullshit was always good entertainment.
Guest Coffey Report post Posted October 26, 2003 I miss "reading between the lines" to hear Jim Ross "shoot" at the "boys."
