Guest Nanks Report post Posted October 30, 2003 Right, here's the story. 4 mates & I are renting a house in Whistler/Blackcomb (Creekside) from Nov-Feb and we're trying to work out if it will be practical to take over my laptop to plug into the phone line so we can email home and keep apprised of enrolment shit with our uni. Due to time differences and so forth, we haven't the patience for Internet Cafes and the like. Several questions. 1) Is this possible? Just to whack the computer into the wall and go for it?? 2) Is there a particular company that is best to deal with in Canada in terms of cost? We don't want to be signing up for some year long contract shit and we won't be using it for general net surfing and the like.
