Undertaker vs Mick Foley

"Take away the bumps and you have a horribly boring match. With them. you have a horribly boring match with 2 big bumps. The match WAS and STILL IS based on the bumps. You don't see much of the match OUTSIDE of the bumps when they recap it. Heck, I can barely remember the finish."

 

Without the bumps,they wrestle a different match.though. They had done some pretty good brawls with each other earlier in their careers. The match would have been hampered by Taker's foot but I'm sure they would have worked around it.

 

I don't even think calling them "bumps" gives Foley enough credit. In the basic definition,they were. But they were the 2 of the most shocking,high profile bumps we had seen in the US at the time.

 

But it became a 'horribly boring match' because of the after affects of Foley's work. He wasn't gonna get up and from those and continue with some **** brawl but I'll give him credit for trying.
