Personally, I thought the action was slow and crap, so was there a special significance to this match that I missed out on? Thanks.
imajackoff? Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 If I remember correctly, this match occured just after Snuka had left Albano. It was the begining of a huge face run for him. His going for revenge against Stevens for the beating he took was his first program as a face. Snuka was crazy-over back then. If he wasnt such a flake, Vince would have taken the belt off of Backlund and given it to him.
