I'm not sure if you mean reaching Smackdown levels of sucking- or in terms of wrestling?

TNA still can't match up with the line-up that Smackdown COULD throw out there. Just in terms of work rate. You roll yout Angle, Benoit, Eddie, Chavo, Spanky, London, Noble, Tajiri, Rey, Ultimo... who in TNA fits in that group? Daniels, Styles maybe?

However, since Smackdown's booking is so shitty- I think TNA still sounds like the better show- simply because it's still focused on wrestling.

You say that Smackdown COULD be great, but if you think about it, TNA can put put a better show, basically because they can actually BOOK, rather than have a Stephanie v Vince level of sucking.

People can wish for more wrestling and less talking, but the ironman match killed that. The ratings for that hour went down the entire time, until the end when they went up a litle.

That's because an hour is too long for peeps who ARE interested, let alone those who are only vague followers. Shouldda been a half hour match . . .

But to me, TNA rules all kinds of ass, except Jeffy Jeff winning, that bugs me, but it's all good. It's different, ya know? And since I can only watch it once a week, it's fresh! So it's still all good!

Didn't the last PPV get pretty good reactions. It seems likethe WWE is really just saving a lot of their wrestling for the PPVs and working on giving big build-ups.

That could be a good idea, but their writers suck and it's all Vince-centric- so nobody cares. I think the format they had in September, with like 4 long matches was great...

The biggest fault is that the they're trying to get non-wrestlers over, and you can't do that in the ring.

But if they continue with the terrible TV shows, people will stop watching THEM, and therefore not care about the build up to the PPV. The last PPV was good because it had three matches in there that were watchable. But you EXPECT that from a Smackdown PPV.

Definately ! There was some really good stuff in there including time for in ring promos and things. I personally wouldnt care. It's better than 13 mins of wrestling on a 2 hour show.

The problem is, they think they CAN do it in the ring sometimes, and that is a major problem.

Actually, I've found SmackDown and Raw over the past two weeks to be rather entertaining. At least the booking is going somewhere, right? That's a step forward.

And TNA is set for another boom period of creativity and quality. They've just come off the standard down period after a streak of good-great shows, so they're due for another good show anytime now. Although the main event will always tarnish the show, since JEFF JARRETT FUCKING SUCKS.

The mistake was telling people how long the match was going to be. Fans didn't have

to worry about missing the finish if they changed the channel and they always knew

when they could tune back in to see the end of the match. A 30 minute match could

do good ratings because 10 minutes into the match people would figure the finish

is definately coming at any time, so they better not change the channel.

What I don't get is that on SmackDown Vince McMahon wanted the boys to do longer matches and work more submission style matches which is cool with me because I've told a bunch of people I hang out with that in order for WWE to change they need longer matches to gain back hardcore fans. But now a days every other top guy in the WWE is in a movie deal and no one under them is getting pushed to their potential except for maybe the Big Show who's push should have came a few years back when he came to the WWE! They talk about boosting their cruiserwieght division.. What a joke! Tajiri is champion everyother week.. Rey Rey gets a few reigns, and Kidman gets screwed. Noble does alright, but other guys like Funaki whos been around in WWE for a long time and new guys like Spanky don't get a break.. They get used as card fillers because the WWE doesn't know what to do with lighter guys, they're stuck in the big man era. It'll always be about that to them.

TNA is a good product and from what I read on the net and the photos I see from their site which continues to get better. I feel TNA is getting one of the better reputations of any indy fed who's going head to head with WWE.

Really??? I actually thought that you would have totally hated the shows of late. I thought they were poorly booked and weren't entertaining AT ALL. Oh well.....to each his own I guess.
