cawthon777 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Why was he interfering in everything? Was this around the Russo he's crazy and retarded era? I guess you could say that. This was just a few weeks before the Survivor Series, which had the world title tournament, and Kane was in the midst of a heated rivalry with a recently turned heel Undertaker (Taker brought back Paul Bearer as his manager at October's Judgment Day when he and Kane were fighting for the vacant belt). So I guess Kane was acting out since his daddy went and joined Taker instead. The weekly routine of either the Undertaker or Austin or Kane interfering in matches and beating up both participants went back to 97 but it intensified during Taker's time as #1 contender in the spring / summer of 98 and just got worse from there.
