razazteca 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 I saw them on CMLL on Saturday and was surprised by their skills, these guys were amazing in the ulitmate fast pace spotfest match ever imagine. They were crazy as they were doing SSP to the outside, springboard ddts, ddts out of bodyscissors switch up, kung fu wire work style spin kicks, split leg senton splash! LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 You mean the Havana Brothers, not Habana. Theyre the Havana Pitbulls from So-Cal, made up of Bobby Quance, Rocky Romero, Ricky Reyes, and Pinoy Boy. And if you're just seeing them for the first time now, uve missed out on them for awhile. Quance worked for XPW a few times and XPW brought three of them in for some non-taped dark matches at their HQ b/c they were looking to bring them in at as a permanent team, but never got around to it. They were gonna work MLW, but it was cancelled.

razazteca 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Well only 3 were on the show, I think it was Bobby Quance, Rocky Romero, Ricky Reyes. Romero is the one that did the SSP to the outside I think.
LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Realized I made a mistake in my last post...one of them - either Quance or Boy - actually works as Puma Kid in Mexico, not by their So-Cal name (Quance or Boy, depending on who it is). I'm not sure which it is though. Â One of the four did a Phoenix 720 DDT like Jody Fleisch a few weeks ago. I'm pretty sure the one who does the SSP is actually Quance but I may be wrong. I know he uses that as his finisher in other feds though.
Guest bort Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Did Rocky and Ricky work in NJPW last summer, i seem to think they worked as brothers for some reason

Guest ToddRoyal Report post Posted November 2, 2003 Rocky and Ricky do work for NJPW, though I haven't seen their stuff so I'm not sure if they work as brothers. They could work as "Havana Brothers" though.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2003 I find it hard to believe that they are brothers since they look so different but I guess it can work in a Dudley Boy way.
Guest Ace Johnson Report post Posted November 3, 2003 Reyes and Romero are awesome so is Quance and Pinoy Boy. I think all of them have won some awards on socaluncensored I know Pinoy Boy was rookie of the year at some point. I guess I could just not be lazy and check the site. Pinoy Boy is Puma. He wrestled on the NJPW Socal show as that.
