alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2003 It's from opening day, but I just now saw it and didn't see it posted anywhere: 1. San Antonio 2. Dallas 3. LA Lakers 4. Sacramento 5. Minnesota 6. New Jersey 7. Detroit 8. Indiana 9. Phoenix 10. Philadelphia 11. Portland 12. New Orleans 13. Houston 14. Orlando 15. Boston 16. Chicago 17. Seattle 18. Golden State 19. New York 20. Memphis 21. Cleveland 22. Toronto 23. Denver 24. Washington 25. LA Clippers 26. Miami 27. Atlanta 28. Utah 29. Milwaukee That's right...the Pacers lost their home opener to the last team in the power rankings., then went to OT with the third-to-last. Not that I agree with half of this, just saying. *is slightly embarassed* I'll think about it, and provide my OWN power rankings later.

Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted November 3, 2003 How the hell do you have Chicago ahead of the Celtics? Paul Pierce > Any Chicago Bull
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2003 (edited) And Tracy McGrady > Any Detroit Piston, too. Did that get him past the first round of the playoffs? Although if you're going to go that route: Eddy Curry, Tyson Chandler, Jalen Rose, Jamal Crawford, Scottie Pippen, or Marcus Fizer > any Boston Celtic other than Paul Pierce Besides, this is just an outlook before any games have been played. I can (and probably will, honestly) change my mind after seeing both teams play a couple months. Edited November 3, 2003 by alfdogg

I can (and probably will, honestly) change my mind after seeing both teams play a couple months. Actually I think Ben Wallace is a better player than McGrady. I mean the man averages double figures in points and rebounds while getting about 5 or 6 blocks per too. Personal opinion I suppose Scottie Pippen isn't worth shit anymore. Jalen Rose is a cancer to team chemistry, and Jamal Crawford IMHO is still unproven. Tyson Chandler is their only real star(seeing as how Jay Williams will most likely be released because riding a motorcycle was a violation of his contract...that is if he can even play ever again) Paul Pierce, Raef Lafrentz, and Vin Baker who has lost about 30lbs and redevoted himself to the game are better than any 3 players the Bulls could throw out
EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2003 Vin Baker doesn't suck for a week and its a renaissance! No objections to the Sixers in either ranking. I think that they've got a better team than people realize, but its up to them to prove it.

Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted November 3, 2003 I'm not trying to take a thing away from T-Mac. I mean he's an incredible player and a great shooter. But Wallace overall is a stronger player and now that he's moved to the PF position with Darco there he'll be much tougher. If there's a player I want with the ball in the last possesion T-Mac's name would be up there. If there's a player I want in there all 48min cause he brings alot to the table its Wallace
Cartman 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2003 Maybe i'm in the minority(as usual) here but I think Ben Wallace is the best player in the NBA right now. He learned how to get the ball in the basket now, along with ungodly Rodman-like rebounding, and GREAT blocking and stealing. He is the complete package.
