Guest Joe Report post Posted November 4, 2003 Been getting Xplosion on the Metro channel for a month now, watching every week, and really haven't cared for it...Between the PPV recap (of a show I've already seen), the squash matches (that were pretty much boring as heck), and the overall general way the show was edited together, I just wasn't liking it at all... But this past weekend's Xplosion was a huge step in the right direction...The recaps were handled perfectly, the editing was great and the show actually flowed really well, and the two matches were great...It was interesting seeing Diamond and Swinger, and AJ Styles in action on Xplosion...Sure it was only two matches in the whole hour, but I'd rather have two good matches then four boring as hell matches... TNA needs to keep it up and make Xplosion this good every week...It makes the show worth watching, which could help the show do it's main job and sell the PPV...I know if I weren't already planning on getting this week's show, Xplosion would have convinced me to get it for sure... Guest JacK Report post Posted November 4, 2003 Do they like cut up all the matchs? Because if they didn't that'd make the show a LOT better.
geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2003 It really pisses me off that we don't get explosion in Cincy. It seems like this is an area TNA would market to, as when they start doing house shows this would be an easy market to travel to. A swing through Lexington, Cincy and Dayton would mean little travel for the company.
Guest Joe Report post Posted November 4, 2003 Jack, most weeks they do cut up the matches...I remember a few weeks ago there was a CM Punk/Julio Deniro vs. 2 guys match and at one point Deniro is beating the guy down, then all of a sudden they're both down and crawling for the hot tag...It was really annoying... This week's show, the two matches didn't look cut at all...Granted, they weren't long (each about 3 minutes) but they were still full matches, nothing cut, and thus flowed pretty well and entertained fully...
