BigPoppaKev Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 I downloaded bittorrent and have been trying to download some files with it but I can't really figure out how to use it. It is probably just because I am some kind of moron but could anyone help me out with figuring this damn thing out.
Insane Bump Machine Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 alright. First of all, don't use the standard client. Use Shadow's Experimental. It has far more functions. Download here. Close your web browser during installation. After it is installed on your system you should be able to just click on the torrent links from sites like suprnova.org and a save window should pop up. If that doesn't work or if you want to start the download sometime later, right-click the link and save the .torrent file on your hard drive. Then you can just double-click the file on your PC and start the download.

That didn't work for me so I'll mention http://www.torrentlinks.com I wouldn't download that Matrix Revolutions vidcam capture or anything else too new, though. The MPAA/RIAA is very well known to visit these places (especially suprnova) and collect IP addresses.
