Lord of The Curry Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 Good fucking God, I'm at The Top of The Wall in Minas Tirith w/ Gandalf on EASY and I'm getting gangbanged by about 100 orcs per second. Anybody even have any clue as to what the level objective is (besides holding off the army)? I've gone up to the top of one tower and launched the catapuals repeatedly but it's not working. And it's not just this level. Every single level on easy or normal are what a regular game would be on hard, not to mention the levels in this daddy are huge.
Lord of The Curry Posted November 5, 2003 Author Report Posted November 5, 2003 Ok, this game just got upgraded to "Fuck it" status. The beggining levels on easy are equal to anything you've found in the later stages of TTT on hard. Until somebody finds me an invincibility code, this game ain't happening.
El Psycho Diablo Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 The game looks neat..but it's an EA game, so it goes into the 'no purchase' pile.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 Maybe you haven't leveled up enough.
Downhome Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 I'll own it ASAP, seeing how I fucking loved EA's Two Towers. That one is one of my favorite games of that genre ever, and I'm sure I'll love this one even more.
Mole Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 The game looks neat..but it's an EA game, so it goes into the 'no purchase' pile. Whys that? I have found that EA does the best with any type of game.

I have found that EA does the best with any type of game. It's a long, long story. I'll just say they've got a history of half-assing everything that's not a PS2 game. That, and the fact this game supports online for PS2, but not Xbox. *shrugs* I own both, but I'm not buying a game on an inferior console. when I can get it for the more powerful one. ..and since the version I want isn't what it could be, I won't buy it. Then again, I haven't bought an EA game for years (since they snubbed the DC, actually) so it's nothing unusual.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted November 21, 2003 Report Posted November 21, 2003 After spending time with the game, I think you just might not be good at it. It's not as hard as you think it is.
Guest Ahhee Posted November 21, 2003 Report Posted November 21, 2003 Freedom Force, MoH: Allied Assault and BF: 1942 aren't half assed games. My only gripe with EA is the eleventy gajillion expansion packs they put out for their products. They've milked the Sims so much that they added a magic expansion?! heh Anyway, Two Towers was awesome and the RotK demo was kick ass as well. I'll rent it at the very least.

MOH looks terrible on the Xbox. They cancelled BF1942 (Which would've been a nice Live title). I haven't played FF yet. Battlefield is neat, but got kinda old after a while for me.
