Ummmm...I don't know about the "Seattle LJ community", but I've personally never encountered any cliqueish aspect of LiveJournal. Arguably, my lack of desire to look at blogs on other sites can be called that, but that's just because I can't put them on my "friends page" and read them every day from one nice, easy page. Oh, and I'm istartedajoke if anyone wants to add me. And even if you don't, I've yet to bother with protecting any of my entries.
