Excellent showing from "Elf", It seems like it will be this month's "School Of Rock". This is a big boost in Ferrell's career (Seeing as it's his first starring role).

Ouch. Revolutions did a good number of course but that is WAY down from the 122 million prediction I read. I think all the awful reviews and negative word of mouth hurt it.

I'm happy for Will Ferrell.

I like the guy. Hopefully, this success will mean more Ferrell movies. Honestly, he's pretty much the only guy off of SNL in the past five years who I actually like enough to be happy for his success.

I didn't care for Ferrell on SNL, but I've liked him in alot of hs film work.

However, I don't think I'll like him in a starring role. He's good in a suporting role where he gets a smaller amount of screen time. I think 90 minutes of him in a starring role, would be way too much of his comedy style.

Wow, Brother Bear did just about the same as last week!

Who says traditional animation is dead?
