Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted April 11, 2002 Uh...Echo and The Bunnymen! Who? Haha got scared for a minute there didn't you? Although I know who Echo & the Bunnymen are, I honestly have never heard any of their songs. Sorry Kinetic, any recommendations? As someone who's constantly hard up on cash because I don't have a steady job, there's a lot of good music and movies I've missed out on.
Guest Vyce Report post Posted April 11, 2002 I'm not going to list the songs of musical groups that I think were actually good in the 80s (like U2, early Metallica, Ozzy, Depeche Mode, The Cure, etc.). I'll cop to the embarassing stuff. Tarzan Boy by Baltimora Bizzarre love triangle by New World Order I'm sad to agree with those choices. Also: "Big Country" by Big Country (they should have been the next U2!) "Africa" by Toto "Take On Me" by A-ha "Safety Dance" by whatever that guy's name was. "Cars" by Gary Neuman
Guest hobu0 Report post Posted April 11, 2002 Well, I was born in 82, and I was listening to rock music as far back as I can remember. Believe me, I was into all that rock shit. Europe, Poison, Dokken, Twisted Sister, Judas Priest, Ratt, Cinderella, Motley Crue, Ozzy. I can still remember begging my mom to put the Dokken "Back for the Attack" casssette on layaway at Meijers for me. The best 80s hair band song ever is "Burn in Hell" by Twisted Sister.
