This is better suited in the TV - Movies - DVDs - VHS folder.

May I ask WHY? This isn't so much a discussion about the movie, but rather, what everyone WANTS the movie to do as it could very well determine Rocky's fate in the WWF and the world of Pro. Wrestling as a whole.

 

I want to know what people think about Rocky, and if they want him to stay or go, thus asking what they hope the movie does.

 

Please move this thread back, as it is WWF discussion.

I agree Downhome. Ramsus and esepcially Tony have been pisspoor mods so far. Some things can fit in two topics like this but they are moved out into the other topic. I think this fits better in the WWF more than this folder. Man I wish someone took away there mod powers and let just Brian and BPS have them.

But the post inspires you to talk about the movie not how it affects wrestling. If the original poster wanted to keep it in the WWF folder they should've worded it so it would sound like they were asking about the impact on WWF it could make if it did blockbuster business. Yes i'm aware that the original poster explained that he was talking about the impact it could have in the post. But as is witnessed by the replies the post only got people to discuss the movie and not the impact on wrestling. Therefore it was a good move to put it here.

The sad fact is that whether you or I like him or not, the Rock is HUGELY popular.  He's got charisma and mass market appeal.

 

I'll predict this opens number 1, with a nice gross - 20 million or so.  It'll probably wind up with somewhere between 70 - 80 million domestic, but the entire venture will probably be a success.
