Jebus 0 Report post Posted November 15, 2003 TNA From The Inside: Luger, Sting, Styles, More Posted By Jeremy Borash on 11.14.03 The latest TNA news from the promotion's own Jeremy Borash... With more heat than a Teddy Hart post match celebration, welcome to another edition of From the Inside with Jeremy Borash. A big thank you to the many Mac users who have emailed me over the last week. You people are like a cult. Like the mark of the beast, Apple Computers come with logo stickers that I've actually seen on the back of car windows. I have consumed the kool aid and will let the chips fall as they may. Lots of news to get to today, so courtesy of my Mac Dual G5, here comes the latest... "Very good match. Three top-tier players in Sting, Luger, and Jarrett came together with one purpose.....to put over A.J. Styles as a main-eventer. It had a very big-time feel to it and accomplished it’s goal perfectly." (From the PWTorch.com) Even with the return of Lex Luger, the night was about AJ Styles. The "he can't compete on our level" statement has surely put AJ in a tremendous underdog position, and I'm looking forward to watching him prove Jarrett and company wrong with his amazing talent. TNA had to turn away fans once again at the TNA Asylum this past Wednesday night. Lex Luger seemed to have just as much of a babyface reaction as a heel reaction coming out to the ring Wednesday night. Want to see an amazing picture? Check out this photo with Jeff Jarrett against Sting from WCW. Who is the Sting impersonator? Yep, you guessed it, Kamala. No, actually it is none other than Wildcat Chris Harris. http://www.wildcatchrisharris.com/media/pi.../asstingwcw.htm This Wednesday night we will see the return of Raven's Clockwork Orange House of Fun match with Sandman and Eric Watts taking on the Red Shirt Security and Legend. On this weekends Xplosion, Don Callis hands Legend a red shirt. I've had a week to have the death of Mike Lockwood sink in. It really didn't sink until I was asked to put together the video memorial for him that aired to start the show Wednesday night. It was the first time I have ever had to edit one of those for the passing of a friend. Glenn Gilberti came and sat down next to me at my computer while I was putting it together, and we both just kind of sat there in silence. You know things get heavy when Glenn Gilberti sits anywhere in silence. I didn't expect that making a video memorial was going to be hard, but I think it ended up being therapeutic in a strange way. Mikey had talked about moving to Nashville in the final weeks before his death. He loved Nashville and made a lot of friends here in a short time. He was excited about the prospects of getting to teach wrestling to some of the younger talent in the Nashville area, as it was something he had a true gift for. He had very kind heart, and wasn't afraid to let you know how much he appreciated your friendship. While we are saddened by this loss, he is in a better place now. The Low Ki vs. Fallen Angel matchup included some very innovative action. Hats off to both talents. If I ever get married, I'm hirin' me a Fabulous Freebird for the reception. Its good to see that P.S. is still keepin' it real in the 2k3. Attention international fans! TNA has plans to make every show in the history of TNA available for viewing online with a PPV-like highspeed online service. This will allow people from anywhere in the world to view TNA, as we will be taking international orders. Look for a formal announcement very soon. We shot the 2004 TNA Girl Calendar Wednesday morning. The Shane Douglas video package that aired during the PPV Wednesday night included some footage of his new Franchise member Tracy Brookes from the shoot. You will see several of the TNA Girls in this calendar, as well as shots of Trinity, Goldylocks, and others. Abyss vs. AJ Styles has been signed for this Wednesday night. I've seen these two battle it out in NWA Wildside before, and I'm really looking forward to what they'll do Wednesday night. Where else can you see TNA fan Chris Rock? In the controversial new Paris Hilton video. Paris is doing her thing with the comedic stylings of Chris Rock in the background. Now that is mood music. Poor Paris... I hear her family is really upset with her about the tape... and even more pissed it was shot at a Holiday Inn. That is all for this week! See you back on PPV this Wednesday night!
