Guest CronoT Report post Posted November 16, 2003 Rob Van Dam should turn heel on Sunday. He could then cut a promo on RAW on how he hasn't gone anywhere with Austin as Co-GM, that the only title shots he's recieved have been for the Intercontinental Title. While when Bischoff was GM on his own, he got title shots at the World Title. Then maybe he'd get a title shot at Goldberg (If Retained) and set up a feud? Nevermind, this will never happen. 1.-Rob Van Dam will NEVER get over as a heel. Whenever RVD is in a face vs. face match, he always gets the bigger/biggest pops. 2.-Bischoff retired the Hardcore and Intercontinental Titles, both of which RVD had proudly held. He retired the hardcore Title by combining it with the IC Title. Then, he retired the IC Title by combining it with the World Title. The only reason RVD got the "first" title shot against HHH was because he was the last one to hold the IC Title before it was retired. 3.-Austin un-retired the IC Title, and then gave RVD his title shot against then champ, Christian. Austin has since then made sure RVD doesn't get "Back Door Dealed" out of the title, ie, giving RVD an immediate rematch against Jericho after he "won" the title after blatant outside interfence. They'll turn Shawn Michaels or Booker T heel again before they try to turn RVD heel again. Remember Invasion Era RVD?

Not to be rude but KANE Was the last IC Champ before HHH consumed it with every other title. Remember Necrophillia Angle?
Downhome 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2003 If they actually pushed him as a heel, as they did in ECW, he would be over huge, the fans would hate him.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted November 16, 2003 RVD can ditch his spotty offense and do ten minute headlocks to turn heel. Of course he'' suck more and his matches will be canned for a bikini contest.... Wait. a heel turn is a good idea! It will make him quit or have him end up fired. CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2003 I could see Rob as a heel. He'd really have to be a cocky son-of-a-bitch rather than a cool guy, though. And he wouldn't have to nessesarly change his moveset, either. It would just be him saying 'HA! Look at how good I am'. That being said, I don't see it happening. I see Micheals turning heel first. Doesn't he act arrogant already? I can't really tell he just seems to be on a permanant trip that it comes and goes.
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted November 16, 2003 Yeah, he's arrogant. But more towards his opponents, not nessesarly the fans if you catch my drift.
Guest JMA Report post Posted November 16, 2003 RVD could only get over as a "cool heel" now. He can't just go back to his heel ECW persona.

Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted November 16, 2003 Not to be a dick again, but in the unofficial rulebook of match listings, the champion should be written before the challenger (unless your doing introductions then the challenger is first) no matter if they are heel or face. Or maybe its just B.S that I have been doing for the past oh so many years.
