Guest One Trick Pony Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 I haven't been entertained by a whole RAW in a long time. I liked the booking for ALL of the things on RAW so far. Kudos to the writing team for the Lita/Matt/Christian/Molly/Bisch portion as it's been excellent. Less Shane and Austin on TV does make for a better RAW. Even La Res vs. Garrison/Jindrak had heat. Sure Randy Orton and Rico can't even attain that unreachable (sarcasm) goal but it's been a good RAW. Only gripes: Rico- Can we please stop having 5 minutes matches that feel like 50 minutes matches with the poor man's Goldust? Randy Orton- Anytime he talks it is soooooooooooo sloooooooww and it takes him forever to get the point across. It also is taking him more than a year to get some heat.

A-Train's alright. He still doesn't have much grasp on using those moves to make an interesting match. I was more entertained by that Rico match than I have been by an A-Train match.

Matt Young Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 I LOVED Raw tonight. I'm not nearly as negative as most people around here, seeing as how I enjoy the shows 99% of the time, but still, everything went well tonight. I missed all of last week's show and half of the one before that, so I was super-excited to be able to watch a whole Raw again, and they definitely delivered. There wasn't a single bad match or angle. The one thing that did slightly disappoint me was the fact that Test and Steiner didn't win the Tag Titles, but that's just a minor complaint I have. My favorite moments of the night were Matt Hardy making his return (I marked out huge but already miss his old entrance), and both the love angles with Y2J/Trish and Christian/Lita were excellently executed, to use a term coined by my all-time favorite wrestler. Every single match was pretty good as well. They also set up Raw Roulette for next week (which I enjoyed last time around), Randy Orton finally getting a title shot at Armageddon for the IC belt, and they seem to be doing something right with Kane. Plus, Goldberg jobbed, which is always nice to see. Hell, Booker T even dragged a decent match out of Mark Henry. I'm definitely looking forward to next week's show even more than usual, and I hope the great momentum they have built carries over.

They tried once to have him actually do something with it by offering the hotel room key to his opponent, but that's it. Nothing else since. He's just a gayer-looking Sting with worse matches at this point.
