So I grabbed myself a snare and got him some sticks. I started with a few basic rhythms, and he followed that just fine. Then I did a drum roll. Sure you can do some impressive things with a stick in your hand, but we're damaging ourselves to do even more impressive things. So OJ, do you follow drum and bugle corps? They finished 5th at DCI finals last year. Plus...two of our instructors play for them. One of them, Paul, plays marches on snare for them. And also, not to be a dick or nothing...but I swear that every kid who was in the drumline back in school was a complete douchebag.
