Playing Devil's Advocate here, it's true that the hardyz have become stale, but many of your reasons are just random thoughts that make no sense.  You say that they run the same match, but if you notice, most WWF superstars do, they pull off the same moves, the same spots. Me personally, i happen to like Lita's Tattoo, it adds a little something to her character (plus I happen to like Lita anyways, so i'm kinda biased here).  As for Lita not wrestling worth a shit, She's ok, better then most of the women in the WWF, although she could use a lot more improvment

Noh dude, its more like two years. She cxame in late 99/early 2000. I dont necessarily "hate" them, but they have become more stale than 2 month-old bread. Vince took them off TV to "freshen them up", and yet they come back exactly the same, if not worse (Lita's had more blown spots than a dalmation in a minefield).....WTF????? yeahhh...I get that....That's like telling me to hit the gym and 6 months later, i come back weaker.

so they can work hardcore matches (well, ladder matches) but i can't remember a match i enjoyed watching them in that didn't involve tables, ladders or chairs. E&C carried them a bit but nothing in the vein of Dudz/E&C from the rumble, for example. They have zero personality or mic skills, all jeff does is skip, all matt does is shitty neckbreaker variatons and all lita does is the shitty rana. They are only over because of their clothes, methinks.

I wish many WWF superstars, including the Hardyz, would jazz up their matches and change some.  I get confused watching Mr. Perfect matches.  I think that I'm back in 1988 as he works the same damn match now as he did then.  But I can't necessarily fault the wrestler.  I think the WWF requests that wrestlers work matches in a similar fashion.

Matt and Jeff are decent wrestlers, but before, they were the WWF's big high flyers...

 

Before RVD, Helms, Kidman and all the WCW crusiers came in...

 

they have to redevelop thier mat game more... Matt is almost there already, but Jeff either has to raise the stakes of the high flying shit he does, or throw in the cards and develop another style...

 

If they want to push either as a singles wrestler, they need to change thier look though... Neither will be a good heel, because they look like they just came out of a tiger beat photo shoot...

I like Team Extreme.  I've liked them since the started coming out with Michael Hayes.  So they may blow a few spots, so they may wrestle the same baic matches, but like it was said, they really don't have tons of choice.  What do u think would happen if Jeff Hardy suddenly dropped the high flying from his act???   Vince McMahon would probably have a coronary.

 

And besides.....this all started by someone who is apparently an nWo fan.  Now there is some serious good talent and mat wrestling.

Actually, I think Lita is a worse wrestler than most of the other women in the WWF, except for Torrie and Stacy. The Hardyz really aren't THAT bad--they just need to change their stale characters, though to what, I have no idea. They could be fun as pretty boy heels who act like real bastards, like beat the hell out of Trish or something.

They really should turn them heel on lita with raven as their manager (gangrel without having to employ gangrel) but alas, Scott is up there with Tazz now, doin' heat. I can't think of anyone else in the wwf who'd work in that role right now. It would be funny to see them with Heyman.

Actually, the Hardyz as the new Raven's Flock could be pretty interesting. They could be basically heelish versions of themselves, and with Raven as a mouthpiece, they wouldn't have to worry about their (lack of) mic skills. It's a natural fit. Raven could continue doing commentary as a heel with Tazz--Lawler and Savage were both involved in feuds when they were announcers.

Now THERES an idea Areacode212.  Of course because its a good idea it'll never happen.  If they do reform the flock it'll probably be with people who (a) no one cares about or (b) that don't need to be in a stable.  Because adding the Hardys to something like that might be cool, it won't happen.

 

Although I do remember watching WCW at the breakup of the Flock and hearing how Kidman was gonna go places and he was on his own.  All it looked like he did was change his clothes and do laundry.  He won a few titles, hung with Rey Rey and now won the most meaningless title in the WWF for the umpteenth time.  Maybe the Hardys are safer on their own.

One note on Lita's so called "Rana" it's really a half decent Satallite Head Scissors.. but I think she is trying for a diving rana, which makes it crap.

 

Best one was when we went for a tope diving Satallite Head Scissors on Eddie and got a stiff powerbomb on the floor.. it was actually good.

I do agree that the only reason their over is for the teenage girl demographic.  They are the next generation of the Rockers, only with 1/4 the talent.

As for Lita being good as a wrestler I disagree.  She is no better than Ivory, Jazz, Molly, or Jackie.

They should've split up the Hardys instead of the Dudleys. To me the Hardys have been stale since they did a mini feud with Austin and HHH. There were two upper card guys who the Hardys had faced and it was cool to see them against that high level of opposition. After that it's like they've been stuck going in circles. Same matches, with the same people. Jeff Hardy would've been good in the CW division and Matt could've stayed and gone after the Euro title or IC. RVD and Matt could be pretty cool. Matt would get a pop just for coming out with Lita and Jeff would stay over because of his moves in the CW division. If they were going to stay together then they should've been drafted to Smackdown! because as we've seen already there are no point to tag teams on Raw. The Hardys wrestled Bossman and Perfect on Raw last week. Who cares, what do they move up to? A Brock Lesnar beating that's what. Beating a tag team like Bossman and Perfect will do nothing. Getting beat on by Brock, and eventually probably losing to him in a handicap match will do even less. One of the first things the WWF could do to spicen up the Hardys would be to get rid of the whole "underdog thing". The Hardys have been around long enough and had enough titles were they can actually work an angle were they aren't getting the crap kicked out of them every match and show until the last 30 seconds were they pull out the mircale win. Speaking of Tag Teams. JR said that they are thinking about pushing Perfect and Stasiak as a team. Pushing them to what? No belts in that division. If they do get really over then what?

Yes.. Jeff does have more high spots, like the 450, Arabian Moonsault and a few others.. but he hasn't used them in over 2 1/2 years so they don't mean a thing.

Since i created this post, heres why i hate them more exactly.

 

1.) I have been a fan of them in 2000, but they really just stayed the same, unlike some people, who usualy ADD moves to their repitue(sp?). Instead of a Swanton, do a Corckscrew for the pin for a change, or a double splash like the rockers. Matt is annoying with "AAAAH" when he does the Twist of no use since everyone kicks out.....usually.

 

2.) Lita sucks balls. I think TERRI wrestles better then her, now thats sad.

 

3.) they have to change their act or they will just die down worse.

 

4.) Send Lita to HWA or OVW for a few months (or like Mark Henry, a few years). Her actehs are murder. You can ACTUALLY SEE her fucknig up spots, setting them up 100 seconds in advanced,m and you can see her call the end.

 

5.) If none of the above dont work, FIRE EM.

 

Also, I am a fan of nWo cause i like Hall & Nash (and when hogan was around.)

 

Also, people rib Hogan for reasons beyond my belief (cause hes not a hard worker?) In all honestness, I would watch Hogan fight rather thenthe hardlys'. It is pretty obvious that the WWF takes away certain offensive moves and such from wrestlers when they are signed...You can't have the lower card getting over more than the Main Eventers now can you.  That being said, I am happy someone else has seen the Omega stuff.  You shoud know then that they can play some damn fine heels in the ring, Matt and Jeff can do a Hell of a lot more than they are allowed to do, and they could get over really quickly if allowed to do so.  But you say he hasn't done them in 2 1/2 years...do you think because he forgot how to do the moves??? No, he just doesn't get a chance.  

 

I too hate this "Team Extreme" thing, but I like the Hardys.  They just need to have the shackles taken off of them and let them do what they have the ability to do.  

 

BTW, Lita really isn't a ugly person.  If you have ever seen her outside the WWF you know it...The makeup people in the WWF have her face looking like when a drag queen puts on make up...all thick and too bright.  When she doesn't have on 5lbs of blush and foundation, she has a very pretty face.

I've never seen any OMEGA stuff, apart from Helm's dive od the 18 Wheel onto Matt through a table in the ring, but I've heard a lot about it.

I remebe rhte NM'99 Ladder match, Matt's Splash Mountain on the ladder, then Jeff's 450 onto the ladder onto E or C. They haven't forgotten how to do the moves, just can't be botherd maybe..or are told not to, don't have time in the matches, or can't work them on.

Did'nt they used to to a second rope  Splash Mountain with a top rope 450 knee drop to the face, from the same turnbuckle at the same time?

Probably they arnt allowed to do them, cause their PPV matches last long enough theyc uold do them maybe 5 times each. They were in the ring at Wrestlemania X-8 for more then half the match, and basically were used as jobbers to Billy & Chuck (again).
