Art Sandusky Posted November 21, 2003 Report Posted November 21, 2003 I had a feeling I'd be the only guy here who looks forward to a Stuart Scott-anchored Sportscenter. I've actually found myself listening to ESPN Radio more and more. Listening to Tony Kornheiser talk about Nick Bakai's wife and how she carries those betting segments for an hour was hilarious, as was one morning last week where you had to call in and guess what Mike Golic said with a full donut stuffed in his mouth.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted November 21, 2003 Report Posted November 21, 2003 Damnit I can't get ESPN radio and their webcast isn't working right now
Vern Gagne Posted November 21, 2003 Report Posted November 21, 2003 Another one. ESPN basically ignoring anything not on their network, or ABC.
Angel_Grace_Blue Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 I guess one thing I don't like about SportsCenter is that throughout the entire rugby world cup this month, only one highlight was shown, for the third-place game between NZ and France. No clips from USA beating Japan (The Eagles first win in who-knows how long), nothing about the finals (Though that was this morning, so I'm sort of hoping for something on Monday...maybe). Not to mention the fact that a clip from the New Zealand players performing the haka (Which is a traditional Maori war-challenge type thing) being used for the 'Not Top Ten', claiming it was dancing. Other than that, I can usually tolerate most of SC. But I agree with the people who don't see how a dunk can be in the top five, unless the guy leapt from half-court or something.
